  • Resisted having a maccy D's today whilst out, even though I was STARVING.

Got home an hour or so later, and had a tin of soup.

So felt healthier and better for not eating the Maccy's, and stuck the three quid I would have spent, in the pot! :D
No debt left now. Saved £111 in our sealed pot last year. And £272.13 this year! Also we have £2300 in savings. :j

    SPC #468 :D Target £250 for 2015.

    Hi Sue

I'm back again for this year's challenge with a target of £250 again to go towards my car insurance. Really chuffed with this year's result to fingers crossed.

    Have potted 8p.

Sue - It is a Hearty Lives programme, gets reviewed every 3 months. If I do things towards the goals set, I can carry on another 3 months and can last upto a year. So at least I can get some support there. Can find it harder do some things when I am working, but must make more of an effort.

 welcome Chutney. Sue will give you your lucky number soon :)

DH went out for his work Christmas do last night and had a £2 coin in his pocket, so I have taken that and popped it in my tin.

  • Morning all.

I have pm'd a few of you as requested, sue will pm you later, on my phone at the mo and its playing up.

    Now the confusing bit

I potted £5 in the week which I needed back yesterday and was going to repot it when I got in.
Long story short in my change after a few spends yesterday I got 2x 2 coins and a 50p which we pot for little man. So I am now going to pot a £10 note, the old £5 and the new £5 because I feel bad.

    Have a good weekend everyone.
    xx

    Hi all,

A very warm welcome, Chutney86. It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Enjoy yourself saving, posting and joining in the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 2nd post of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 5th Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Chutney86 - please note that instead of giving you the following No on the list I've given you No 23! I know that member won't be returning so it's fine to do so. I've also put you Target on, I hope you manage to pot that much - maybe even more! :D

Another gold star for you for the welcome, Glitterbaby! :staradmin I'd be grateful next time if you could point new members towards the 1st post on Page 1 so they get to see what SPC is all about. Thanks a lot. :)

I'm so pleased to hear your lad will be home for Christmas, scotmumof3, though I'm sure you don't really mind him eating for several!! ;)

Brilliant to read, NobodysChild, and a great way to save!!!! :T Why give it to someone else when you can do with it!! :j That's what SPC is all about.

It's lovely to see you, Fiasco, and didn't you do WELL!!!!! :j I've updated your Target, don't forget the date for declaring next year is 5th November!!! I know you won't be late?!

That sounds ideal, Kerry, go all out and help yourself to feel so much better as a result! :j That much really is true! I lost a stone last year and feel sooooo very different, more confidant too. If ever you need any encouragement you know where to find me. :D

Thanks for the giggle, ETO, :rotfl:I think I know what you mean, but why not use a holding pot to help you. I'm sure you must know what I mean, but if not, have a look at my 1st post on P 1. Looking forward to your PM. :D
Have a LOVELY WEEKEND, SPCers, and stay warm and safe!

    Sue x
NB: SPC Savers: 5th November will be the date of 2015 opening day!

Anyone wishing to join, it's NEVER too late, so please just ask, you're more than welcome. :grinheart

No likey no.gif I don't like cold. I don't like winter. I don't like anything about it. Cold, wet, windy, rainy, storms, hail, sleet, snow, slush, dark almost all the time (I see daylight through the window for about 6 hours a day), slippy (I fall all the time and it hurts - I'm delicate :o). What's to like?
    I LOVE summer!! :happylove:happyhear
I agree with you GAP. I too do not like snow. I feel it is just a massive logistics nightmare! Good thing I am going somewhere warm this Christmas :D

    Afternoon

No potting for me today as I am having a 'let's watch elf and eat until we are sick' night with my nephew, so I bought some sweets and popcorn with the change from my lottery tickets :D

I hope everyone is having a good day. It's not too cold here today.
