    Sealed Pot Challenge #016
  • Thank You EVERYONE for your lovely reassuring words (and no, Jakes-Mum, I'm not a Mother)....

I spoke with Mum both this morning and this evening....When I said I was calling to apologise she said "what for?"....and when I explained she said she hadn't given it another thought....She is so lovely and kind and loving....I'm very very very very very lucky to have her as a Mother....

So things are better now....but I think I probably AM run down with the Antibiotics and the Hospital stuff and the Abcess and trying to keep up with my Placement and my Jobs....so I'm going to take it easy tonight...just rest and sleep and I'll get up early to do some Work before my other Work in Central London....

Anyway...I wanted to pop on before I get some sleep and say a HUGE thank you to everyone.....I really feel like part of the Family here.....and it feels like even if I mess up you will still want me to hang around....and that's a lovely feeling :)

Just a small Potting of a bit of silver shrapnel tonight....Hopefully a bit more tomorrow if I can manage it....

Hope you feel better soon Sue....please take good care of yourself....xXx

Night Night Everyone...."see" you all tomorrow xXx

    Morning.

I've deleted my post with the link as it didn't feel right somehow posting it on an MSE site.

Hello, could you pm me the link then? I understand if not, but I would like to give the air ambulance some money

Have potted £3.88p. 3p of that was road change found on my way to a healthy walk. Doing a free healthy/fitness programme to lose weight and get fit.

Well done on your potting, Kerry, and good for you in getting into a healthy lifestyle, so much to be said for it and we all feel so much better having started, honestly. I walk 5 miles a day as often as possible and do workouts via YTube. Thank you for the good wishes. :)

Bad luck with the insurance, mcjordi, far better than my DD, she & hubby's car has been written off with just a bang on the back, they're devastated, but sadly...all part of life.

Thank you so much, cheexy, Glitterbaby and scotmumof3, I'm off to bed early tonight as my throat and chest feel quite rough.

We have the same problem here with beggars and they seem to be on the increase. I usually go Chrissy week and get them all a hot pie but don't give otherwise.

I've decided that I'm going to put my money 'saved' from not smoking in the pot as well :) :xmassign:

A very good idea, Lynne, re the hot pies and not giving money, brilliant thinking! Even better thinking in potting your no smoking cash!!!!! :T
Enjoy your lunches NOT doing the blasted dishes :rotfl:

I'm so pleased your DS is on leave, scotmumof3, I hope it includes Christmas for all of you?

Well done to you, TMD!! :jReally happy for you.

Wonderful news about your Mum being perfectly ok with you, Helen!I think you're right with your thoughts, give yourself a break and rest up. Mums are Mums through and through, it's what we love and do best in life. You'll always have family here too, no matter what, I'm really, really pleased you're assured of that. :smileyhea Yes, I'll take good care of myself, truly...and thank you so much. ;)

Good saving, Hicksy, sleep well and wake refreshed! :D

Ahh, thanks 32b3, I'm sure you're right, and thank you.
Have a LOVELY WEEKEND, SPCers, and stay warm and safe!
