Hiya TMD! It's great to see you back. :hello: If you received my PM you'll see I've allotted you No 64 as I'm positive that member isn't coming back. Also, if you have any savings from this year (2014) if you could pop over to SPC 7 HERE! and let me know there I'd be grateful. Also, could you please swap numbers on your siggy, thanks a lot. Lovely to see you and good luck with saving!

Thanks Sue! Yes I did get your PM thanks. Have changed my signature.

Will be trying for a target of £50, won't be able to save too much but will try my hardest this time.

    Thanks again.

Hello there everyone. Well, more shenanigans with my glasses, at work it was a little quiet this morning so I was standing looking out of the window moving my head up and down to see things come into my line of vision (or not), forgetting that we had a board up behind me and I nearly knocked myself out (no kidding), I've got a cut on the back of my head and its very sore, and my colleagues were rolling about laughing - tbh, so was I, I usually am quirky (bless me), they thought I was messing about deliberately! Ah the joys..... anyhoo, am now walking very upright so that I can see, my posture will thank me, and on a potting front £3.50 - go me, one of the coins was the shiniest £2 I've ever seen - I could have put my make up on with it (well if I could work out how to see I could :()
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • Morning all, i haven't been around all week as i have been poorly :(

Potting news - I have £30 to pot but can't remember where from....... £20 from my mum for getting her some books, £20 from OH for shopping and another £35 from OH as he bought me a jumper i intended buying myself and a handful of change from myself. This brings my total so far to £178.36. I really hope i can keep this up! I really want to take the OH away somewhere nice next year, hopefully we'll have 2 doggies by then too :D

Hicks - Have you considered getting a lockable box to keep things in? I know you shouldn't have to in your own home but it might put your mind at rest for the future?

NobodysChild - your name is a great some too if you like sad country music that is :D

Sue - Thanks for my star!! I'm excited for friday :D

Helen - water is even cheaper!! That's all i drink when i'm out

I was going to but I bought a money tin fir money and didn't bother with bigger as only other thing was on my hands. I should have locked them away when I took them off if I am honest with myself. I am moving out in march (going to beg for sooner).

10 x £2 coins in the £2 coin tin today, and after my run of FB sales ive had 2 no shows today :(

Been to our local animal rehoming place today just to have a look (as im being swayed to get a puppy :o) and there was a 10 month old c0cker spaniel in there  how did such a lovely and tbh expensive dog end up in an animal shelter :( I would seriously have taken her home if her child age range hadn't been 14+ :( I don't think she'll be there long. Personally I really want a beagle :o I just love them (there was a beagle cross in the shelter too but he was just too big for our home and I don't think it would have been fair on him to be cooped up in our house, he needed a farm or the like.

Oh decisions, decisions, DH said we shall wait until after our America trip, and if we are still as keen to have a dog then as we are now we will look at saving for one (and in the mean time we can keep going up the dog shelter . . . just incase . . . )
