Morning Everyone
I'm up at silly-o-clock again (and LoL to 32b, yep, there IS a 2am every day)....Gotta work in a little while....
I'm in a fair bit of pain as Abcess is still there....which is HORRIBLE!! But I'm hoping it will go away soon....all I can do is keep taking the Antibiotics and hope it bursts....
Managed to Pot just over £12 last nightSo I'm really pleased with that...My Pot is filling up rather nicely....and no temptations to raid it - I will NOT be opening it until the Official Opening Date next Year....
I have a Christmas Do to attend tonight so might have a little bit to Pot when I get home....should be a cheap one though as it's in a Carvery, just a tenner for the Meal and whatever I want to drink...and since I don't drink Alcohol it'll just be a coke for me which should be cheap enough
See you all later on xXx0 -
ETO - Good luck for Saturday.

Morning all, i haven't been around all week as i have been poorly
Potting news - I have £30 to pot but can't remember where from....... £20 from my mum for getting her some books, £20 from OH for shopping and another £35 from OH as he bought me a jumper i intended buying myself and a handful of change from myself. This brings my total so far to £178.36. I really hope i can keep this up! I really want to take the OH away somewhere nice next year, hopefully we'll have 2 doggies by then too
Hicks - Have you considered getting a lockable box to keep things in? I know you shouldn't have to in your own home but it might put your mind at rest for the future?

Morning Helen, sorry to hear the abscess is still hurting, lets hope the antibiotics will soon kick in and kick it out!! Take a couple of painkillers before going out tonight, I know they don't always do a lot, but even if they take the edge off a bit it might help you to have a lovely evening. Enjoy yourself! :j
Well done, milky, 50p is GOOD!!!!!!

Well,I got around to phoning SSE this morning.THe upshot of it is that they are refunding me £118 for gas,and £52 for electricity, which I am pleased with.
I asked the lady to check that, based on this,I am paying the correct amount by DD each month (when they last gave me a rebate,my monthly DD for gas and elec also went down.)It seems I am paying right on for electricity, and a few pounds a month over for gas, which I could haver asked them to reduce and rebate. But I decided to keep paying the same amount, and claim back any excess in a few months time, just in case.I told the lady I quite enjoy phoning them up every few months to ask for money back:D.
So,in July this year,SSE refunded me £301.95,now they are refunding me £170.
This weekend I reduced my phone bill by approx £12/month.
Still got to chase up the gym cancellation, which I think they might be playing funny beggars about, but when I sort it,will save me £9.99/month.
Since October last year I have earnt £100 from Pinecone surveys (which works out at about the same rate as my day-job's hourly pay.
Lots of free money around :j.Got to chase it,though!!
Potting-wise,I have potted £1.31 this morning.One 50p piece,the rest tiny coins.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Sorry AH but I did laugh out loud at this. I don't find you nearly killing yourself funny, I think it is just the way you tell them :rotfl: Plus, I am at work and tried to stifle it so it came out as a sort of snort-cough.
It is snowing here and I just want to cry
