I've just looked at my eggs from my latest Ocado delivery, and found that some of them were cracked. It was a box of 18.

Have just rung the company and they said they would give me a refund - I've been refunded for the whole box of them - £3.99.

That is going to my pot once it has been received.

Also I bought some Christmas presents yesterday which had been reduced - am wondering whether to put the amount I saved into the pot or put it aside for more presents. I have put aside an amount for each person I buy for - could be slightly more or less.

Three presents for people had a reduction of £1.20 each (items that they wanted) but think it would be odd to try to buy something for each of them with the £1.20 just to make up the balance. Maybe it will be better in my pot!

May I join please? I have read through the first post and it looks like an ideal way for me to save a few quid for next Christmas rather than waiting until next October and starting to panic.[/quote]

An eggselent idea with the egg refund, Frogletina!! Just an idea with the money saved on reduce items, why not put that cash into a "Holding Pot" (see 1st post of Page 1) and if you don't need it THEN pop it in our pot. It gives us thinking time. ;)

Well done, jakes-mum, and good for you in getting shot of those ruddy meerkats...horrible little ferrets! Not the real ones, they're cute, bit tothers........!
Have a lovely evening, SPCers, and do be careful with the weather all our Scottish and northern folk!!!!

That's a good idea Sue-UU - I have a temporary pot so far, which is not big enough for the year and I will use that as a holding pot once I have one which I will seal.
