Hickles - I'm really sorry to hear about your rings, and in a seemingly similar situation to previously. I hope they turn up.

Jakes mum - thank you for the lovely story, it gives me hope that doggy was called by dad and they are now together and protecting each other in another world.

Helen - still thinking of you.

EMMAP - well done on becoming debt free. :j

  • Thanks for the welcome Sue.

    Great to be on board.

I did actually do a sealed pot last year, but have only recently discovered this forum and only just joined - so this is why I am new to the sealed pot challenge on here.

We saved £111 this year. I was hoping it would be more, but we bought all our Christmas food and alcohol with it, and me and DH bought our Christmas gifts for each other out of it too. :) (Didn't quite manage to get the gifts for the kids out of it though! :D Maybe next year!) I am trying to think of a target for next year. Maybe £200. Or £250. I will have a think.

I got my name 'nobodys child' by the way, from my sister's beautiful horse. :D

Couldn't think of a name, and we went to see him this evening, so I thought THERE WE GO, that is a great name! :D

I will go look at that thread where I am listed with a number.

    Thank you.
No debt left now. Saved £111 in our sealed pot last year. And £272.13 this year! Also we have £2300 in savings. :j

    SPC #468 :D Target £250 for 2015.
  • Hi Sue-U-U and all the sealed potters,

May I join please? I have read through the first post and it looks like an ideal way for me to save a few quid for next Christmas rather than waiting until next October and starting to panic.

    Thanks

  • Welcome along Cherry Burton.

Sue will be back with a number for you and you're ahead of the game having already read post 1. But please ask any questions you may have as we go along.

Good luck with potting and pop back as little or as often as you feel necessary to let us know how you're getting on. :D Just please remember to pop back on Nov 5th 2015 with your grand total. :D:D

Oh dear, jakes-mum, isn't it usually the parents who spoil it for the kiddies?! Yet here we have dear Lilly really bursting your bubble! I truly do understand about continuing the dream through your youngsters though, but look ahead as it'll all start again with DGKs!!!!

I know! How dare they trample all over my illusions! He's real I tell you! REAL!! :o I did corner her today and asked her who brings the presents and she said 'father Christmas', I said 'oh but you told DS he wasn't real' and she said ' no I didn't! DS is a big liar!' :D so either she really doesn't want to burst my bubble or she's seriously on the fence about it ;)
Regarding DGK's, DD has told me categorically she will be living with me forever and will not be having any babies ever!! So pinning all my hopes on DS :rotfl:

Aww so glad it helped you my lovely, I just love the thought that when my time comes (and my loved ones for that matter), someone who loved me will come to meet me so no-one is ever alone at the end :)

No more pennies as I can't read :o meerkat man is coming tomorrow not today :o
