"Sealed Pot Challenge" ~ 8

Ooooooooooooo i'm so in love with my overlocker!! so very very easy to use and so quick! I am now no longer taking over the house with material, i'm taking over the house with bags and crayon rolls :rotfl: even DH grumped 'they are much better seams' after inspecting my first bag.

I am now going to make a microwaveable heat wrap for [STRIKE]misery[/STRIKE] uh . . . I mean my darlingest DH to go round his ankles, as the winter is definitely on its way and his arthritis is playing up something horrid again. He has had the shop bought ones but they are one big bag of rice and as soon as you put it on his ankle all the rice falls down the side meaning none of the heat actually gets to where he needs it :doh:, but I have a plan! :idea: and im just hoping it works

Lots of pennies in the tin these last few days, am now having to do the violent shake of the tin every time I pot so I can get the coins in :eek: I don't think i'm going to make it too the 5th! I might need another pot!

Yes those shop bought ones are quite rubbish, I have three that I lie around my hip but again the rice issue happens to me and I dont get the heat I need....

just been potting a few more coins and realised i haven't been on here in months....where did the summer go to?

Anyway i thought i would check in and say im still potting in the background slowly but surely. hope everyone is well . Think i need to have a final push the next few weeks.

Potted a cheeky wee fiver last night that was lurking in the purse

2 NSD so in went the fiver as planned along with a stray 70p in silver. I found 5p roadkill so that went in and then strangely a man at Home Bargains gave me a trolley but refused my offer of a pound for it despite having left his coin in!! Random act of kindness so in that coin went too

Also my partner left his change here
and said I could put it in my jar that came to about £3.01.

So £20 went into my jar today.
I have £5 in my purse made up of pound coins & change for emergencies.
