I haven't been posting but I have been potting. Very exciting to discover yesterday, when I posted a £2 coin, that I could still the top of it when I let go. Yes, my lovely big piggy bank is nearly full. Pushing now to fill it before the magic date!Declutter our home in 2024

Aha Westie! :grinheartThe first person we've come across to know what he's experiencing, though I hope it doesn't take him so long as you to get it all fixed. Thanks so much for your wishes, ours go to you too that you, one day soon, will feel like Dragon Lily's Brother, and thanks for the heat therapy tip, Westie, it certainly does help.
Im sure your DH will be on the road to recovery quicker then me, he has already had the replacement which took me six years to get...
I am still in pain and on regular painkillers which have their own issues, I am awaiting a pain management referral and maybe will have to go back under the knife to sort out the pesky nerves that are causing my issues, just wish for one pain free day, thats not too much to ask is it...

So I found a bag of mostly coppers,a few 10 and 20p's.Came to £10.18 .So have potted that.
Building works started 2 weeks ago.I am living in a building site :eek:.Have not had a washing machine, dishwasher or tumble drier for 2 weeks.I do miss the dishwasher desperately.Kitchen looks bad enough without washing up for 6 sitting around for too long.OH has been taking kid's school uniforms to inlaw's on a Sunday, they are returned Sunday night, beatifully washed, just needing ironing :A.Tumble drier only gets used to make towels nice and fluffy, but since they are not being washed, not needed.
The rest of the house is a bomb site-boxes of stuff all over the place.Still, will be lovely when it is finished ,some time next year!!
I just realised we will more than likely have moved to inlaw's by pot-opening day.Might have to make a special visit back to our house especially to count-up .SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

I do remember you making it, jakes-mum, and I so look forward to seeing it once you've got it re-sized.
Thanks for the explanation about Grosgrain, I'd never heard of it, but shan't forget it now. Keep up the enthusiasm with your crafting, anything like that does us all so much good.
Here it is Sue, please ignore the VERY wonky lines, it hadn't been ironed! it was much straighter after my mum had at it with her super duper  priced ironSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
