I'm attempting to save up for a motorbike so all my change will come in handy.
I've been lurking in the bushes reading the posts for a while and thought I should get serious about saving, so if you would have me I am in.

Evening all,
Just popped in for a read and to declare my potting. So glad I decided to pot this year with a few weeks left. I potted £5 yesterday as I have taken all meals to work all week from home (in reality I've probably saved more than a fiver), and yesterday DH gave me £40 of his weeks wages towards buying Christmas presents. Rather than have it hanging around and then probably spent (not on xmas pressies) it's gone in the pot!!Everytime I go to spend now I'm thinking do I really need/want this or would it be better to pot the cash, guess that's the idea
Happy potting,

Hello there - got a quick question
what do I do if the tin is full?
So shall I stop saving once its full or use the holding tin? Curious what everyone else does - thanks:)
 !! Stop saving?!?! :rotfl: get thee an old coffee tin, wash it out, cellotape round the edge and cut a hole in the top . . . all of my tins look like that :rotfl: :rotfl:
No, No and NOOOOOOOOOO, jakes-mum!!!!!!You ask the same every year and get exactly the same response so NO is the only answer you're ever going to get!
Yes, I know, it won't stop you...or your pots [STRIKE]mad woman[/STRIKE]...from asking the same question every year, just be prepared for my answer! Even your DH tries to stop you opening up by hiding it.
Awww!!!. . . how about just one tin? . . you know . . just to make them feel better?
DH made the stupid suggestion that I bid on some grosgrain and flatbacks on fleabay . . 'because you might need them for your crafting' . . . . I may have ACCIDENTALLY bid on 75 auctionson the plus side, I have made 2 bags today and they don't look too shabby for first attempts
No pennies yet as I can't be arrised to go get my purse, i've got auctions to watch!:rotfl:

Hey Sue, thanks for my new shiny bright Star
To Sue and Modesty...thank you so much for your lovely warm thoughts of Mum....she is doing much better...she definitely has an Abcess under her Tooth but the Dentist said she has to wait for the Infection to go completely for them to be able to do anything about it.....But she's not in nearly as much pain now and seems to be doing MUCH better....so I'm VERY relieved!!
Stormpassing...Welcome to the Gang.... And WONDERFUL Potting so far!!
Up to Work this morning.....but feeling a little tired.....But I will get there.... xXx0 -
The potting is going well I managed to put some notes in there as I decided to bake brownies rather than buying them... unfortunately the brownies didn't all make it to class.Number 4950
