    Afternoon everyone :hello:

That's me back from sunny Ibiza - still in one piece and a little browner and poorer :rotfl: Had a lovely holiday and super time with my son.

Thank you Sue for the lovely shiny star and hope things are going well for you and yours.

On the potting front I have popped another £10 in for last week and need to sort out my change as all mixed up with £s and euros in the one purse.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Hello there - got a quick question - my tin is getting so heavy and reckon that I might get to the point before November 5th where I can't fit anymore coins in - which is great and I'm excited to know what's in there (not until 5th November)

But what do I do if the tin is full? I do have my holding pot a small money tin I keep several bus fares in as I tend to tip all spare change daily into the tin. I can add any money to that then add it to the total I guess.

I do have my next tin from Home Bargains ready to go next year but don't want to start that until 6th November.

So shall I stop saving once its full or use the holding tin? Curious what everyone else does - thanks:)

Good evening all Potters! I hope you've all had a lovely day, and a wonderful weekend. It's so good to have a last shot of summer with this glorious extended weather! Get set for a beautiful week folks. We had a really lovely day yesterday (Saturday), it could not have been better! For those who may not be well or who maybe down for any reason, here are some special {{{Hugs}}} to help pick you back up.

Don't forget folks, there are around 5 weeks to go now!!!! So save like your life depends on it!!!

Not to worry, hummingbird, we understand life must be lived - but whenever you get the chance to say a few words, please take it as you're doing us a favour and encouraging others to save. :D

At last you're back with us, scotmumof3!! I was starting to wonder if folk were deserting us. :( Sorry to hear about your laptop but at least you now have another so you can keep contact!! :j Good to know you've saved just as well.

SUE!!!! can I open my pot yet? can I open my pot yet? can I open my pot yet? can I? can I? :rotfl: they are all calling to me! can't you hear them?? 'jakesmum . . . jakesmum . . . open ussssssss, we miss youuuuuu'

No, No and NOOOOOOOOOO, jakes-mum!!!!!! :naughty::naughty::naughty: You ask the same every year and get exactly the same response so NO is the only answer you're ever going to get! :p Yes, I know, it won't stop you...or your pots [STRIKE]mad woman[/STRIKE]...from asking the same question every year, just be prepared for my answer! Even your DH tries to stop you opening up by hiding it. :D
I have read and reread the information. I potted my first £1.05 yesterday. I'll probably pot until Nov 5th and then start again with the rest of you. Been reading through the thread and you all seem a rather fun bunch. I'm going to attempt to put my no into my signature after I write this post.

Your No's showing perfectly on your siggy, stormpassing, thank you, and thanks for fully reading my 1st post. I'm pleased you're declaring on the same day as us all...restarting with us too. Happy saving.

Ahhh, so you've already been to Ibiza, Lynne, thoroughly enjoyed yourself with your Son too, I'm delighted for you, though I don't deny it's now great to have you back with us. Things aren't so bad with us, thanks Lynne.

Hi Alison! Please whatever you do - DON'T STOP SAVING when your pot's full!! :naughty: Leave yourHome Bargains tin for next year (Nov 6th) as planned, and either use your Holding Pot until Nov 5th, or use any other tin, pot or whatever to keep saving in. Anything will do so long as it's secure. The alternative is to take out x amount and bank it, if you do that, make a note of what you bank on your siggy so you don't forget to declare it with the rest on the 5th. With regards to the rest of us, most of us need more than one pot, no doubt you'll be the same as you too ha:Dve been bitten by the savings bug. ;)

£12 saved after our beach and shopping visit on Saturday, a good end to the day. :D

Have a really great week ahead, ALL, and don't forget...feed the pots well!!

Hi stormpassing and thecatsanddogsmother. Welcome to the SP thread, You will find a lot of lovely people on here who will give you loads of encouragement and help. Enjoy saving with us. :D

I haven't had chance to pot anything since DH came home. He's been given a large plastic tub with 'allsorts' of sweets in it. It is now empty and he's going to use it as a sealed pot. We'll have to battle it out who gets to the change first. :rotfl:

Glad to hear you enjoyed your holiday Lynne. Welcome home.

    Hugs to all.

Hi Sue, DH can keep his tub but I'm not sure how much will end up in it. :rotfl: He is doing quite well atm thanks. Still in pain but doing his exercises to get himself better. He never gives up.

I'm sorry to hear of your DD's eye trouble, sending love and hugs to you all.

Helen, I hope your mother is on the mend. Hugs to you both.

Have you heard anything from Sparky Sue? It's been such a long time. :(
