I'm here,I'm here,I'm here................
Blimey,is it only 6-ish weeks to go?
I have not been potting as often as I used to, because I am paying for alot more by card, but I did pot £45-ish last weeeknd, and I will start potting abit more in the final push.I know I did pot lots at the beginning of the challenge,so I might still surpass last year's total.
Life is very busy at the moment: on Monday demolition and extension of half our house is about to commence :eek:.Have spent the last 3-4 months trying to declutter so we can get ready for our garage, kitchen, dining room and out-buildings being demolished, making way for new kitchen-living area,bedroom,wet-room and "garage"(in name only.We all know OH is going to use it as a games room/clutter hole).
Tomorrow we need to clear out the out-buildings (part of which is used as utility room). The fridge will be moved into our hall-way ,washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher will be given away, bits of tat will be chucked.Being a family of 6,I am going to miss the dishwasher, and am still not sure how I feel about sending dirty washing to inlaws' for washing .Not looking forward to preparing meals for the next few weeks,in, basically, a building site.
Also not sure how I feel about the 6 of us moving in with inlaws when it comes time to demolish kitchen: I love them dearly, but it is 30 years since I left home........... details like travelling further to get kids to school then go onto work, leaving earlier in morning, being more organised in morning, who disciplines the children, division of labour, paying our way, how do we get used to living with inlaws, how do we not out-stay our welcome........Gonna take some getting used to.
Still,I keep being assured the extension will be worth it.Am certainly sick of sleeping on a mattress on the front room floor, and serving up meals on the (clean!) kitchen floor because there is not enough bench space.
Have I mentioned anything potting-ish?Oh good!:rotfl::rotfl:SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

I'm here 32b....I always read even if I don't always Post
Things are just VERY hectic here...I'm moving out of my Flat (which was the thing that scared me)....but I think it's going to be a positive thing as I've found somewhere that is cheaper but nicer....so I can't complain really but it's also horrible as I love my little Flat and I'm not great with change....
I'm also worried about my Mum as she's not well at the moment and that always frightens me.....We're off to the Hospital walk-in later this morning as she's in a lot of pain but is trying to cope with the pain throughout the night so that we don't have to wait for 6-8 hours on a Saturday Night in A+E...the walk-in centre will be less of a wait and (I hope) more organised on a Sunday Morning....
Apart from those 2 things I'm okay.....Lots of emotional stuff going on as well....but I'm getting there and working through a lot of it....
Managing to Pot little amounts here and there....which is good...but feeling pleased with what I have Saved this Year already....
Modesty...I'm so glad that hubby is home and safe and sounds like he is doing well....I'm really pleased for you xXx
Speak to you all soon xXx0 -

Let me whisper it,because the thought of being soooooooooo out of routine, living out of boxes, over two houses, with inlaws, leaving home about 30 minutes earlier every morning, getting home later every evening, not being able to find "stuff",cooking meals, housework, disciplining kids while under someone else's roof, etc,is very scary.I am actually feeling very nervous now that the time has come.

My sister found a savings tin with a lot of money in and said it was mine,
I counted it all up and it all came to a whopping £9.51
So I put all £1 in one savings tin and the total came to £8.00
And put everything else in a separate tin which came to £7.54
I did save £17.00 a few days ago but I have to start at 0 because I caught myself short this month and only have £13 to get through this week as I've used it to clear my overdraft.:xmassmile EF: £10/£2,700 :xmassmile Fun:£10/£1,000 :xmassmile SPC#054 = £9.00 / £100.00 :xmassmile
