    Hiya everyone :hello:

Thank you for my new shiny star Sue-UU. I will hang it up with all the others on my growing money-tree :D

I am so cold all the time, even with multiple layers on. I like Halloween, Fireworks, Christmas and other people's birthdays (!) but I just feel so miserable with the weather. I just want to hibernate from November to March. I am only properly alive and happy when the warm sun shines.
I think you are my soul-mate GaP. I so agree with you as that is exactly the same for me :) I am planning to move to Spain, eventually I hope, but it won't be for a long time yet.

I potted the 50p I didn't give to the grocery delivery chap. He dashed in and crashed into my door with his basket, knocked a chip off the varnish and didn't even apologise. When I pointed it out to him he just shrugged and said I could touch it up  My door has four coats of varnish on it and you can't 'just touch it up' moan and grump.

Anyways, hope you all have a super Thursday

I've recently bought the Olympic book on Fleabay for £10.99 to store the Olympic 50ps in, but I've made a deal with myself to collect only what's in circulation, eg not buy them for £5+ so I doubt I'll have the whole collection for a long time particularly the rarer coins. However it's a bit of fun searching my change for commemorative 50ps and dateless 20ps so why not? :D

Let me know which ones you are looking for a I have a few spare, and I see a few at work, let me know :-)

Put a knife in the slot and let the coins slide down it.. You may have to get a pair of tweezers to get the notes out.

I have a hole in the bottom of my bigger one, made with a pen and patience, just big enough to get coins out and I cover it with selotape.

I havent put a hole in the smaller one as its new, but I will do the same. Others have said dont do this as you are a risk of splitting the whole pot but if you are careful then its easily done.

What part of Spain would you like to move to??
I'm not sure if I'd like to "emigrate" full time, but would consider 3 months at a time. Perhaps after Xmas and Jan - March inclusive??
Possibly the Costa del Sol area for us, or maybe Tenerife??
    Good luck with your "plan".

    Westie983 - 4am postings?? And Helen looks like she's having a lie in. :p
Any £2 coins worth looking out for?? I'd hate to bank a valuable coin!!

Potted 1 x £2 coin and 5 x £1 coins - from a couple of small shops yesterday = £7. Only £5 needed for the week now and next week will be the last week with having a target (£30). It's only Thursday, but I haven't felt in control this week, even though I have been!! I'll be glad to get back to "normal potting".

I would love to move to Florida *laughs hysterically as chances are slim* as it is so lovely and warm there and we like it.

This is slightly more realistic for me. 3 months at a time. Hmmm... *puts thinking cap on. Might be time to read a little more Mr Money Mustache*

Back to reality with 50p in the pot yesterday :D

LoL Lynsey...Yep, had a bit of a lie-in as yesterday was an emotional one and just needed to sleep it off and relax - Although ended up with weird dreams!! :D

Girlatplay....I'm sorry that the Winter affects you so badly....if I was constantly cold then I would probably hate it too!! :( On the plus side - Have you ever been to Florida? I lived there for 3 months during my Degree (many many moons ago) and it was the best time of my Life...I worked at SeaWorld and absolutely adored it....I have plans to go back for my 40th in 2018 (yes it really might well take me that long to save up for it!!)... :)

Today is a better day....and I managed to Pot £5.60 this morning all in coins...so I was really really pleased with that :D:D:D

Yes, we went in 2010. Absolutely loved it! Best holiday we have ever had, and we always have great holidays. We stayed at the DoubleTree right next to SeaWorld. Planning to go back again as soon as we can gather the funds. We went to California last year (for a 'change' haha) but although it was great, we wish we had spent the money going back to Florida. I'm older than you! I'll be 40 in 2017.

To make up for hijacking the thread about holidays, I pledge to pot £1 when I get home today :)
