Well done crimson that's great news! Well Done.

Well I have to admit that I have emptied 2 of my pots. My sticky fingered friend has been in my house and I wanted to get rid - plus I kept having a recurring dream that my missing rings were in there - they weren't sadly (I suspect my stiky fingered friend took them - not that his family will admit it - despite him being caught red handed stealing 4 months after I suspected it was him taking my £300 pot!).

ANyways - all emptied, counted and then realised I had no money bags so hid in the garage behind baby food containers... Looks like about £340 to be banked. I'll update signature when I get it done.

Sat here looking at the little ones terramundi - I can't bear to break it :(

I am so sad that you still don't have your rings. I can understand you not wanting to have so much money in the house now.

I ended up putting all of my spare money into my sealed pot at the end of each day and only having £5 in my purse so it was easy to keep track of.

The family member who was staying with me is not here at the moment so I don't have a problem now, but she may return.

I did find one missing item in her room before she went, but she claimed not to remember how she had it (she'd also had said she didn't know anything about it 2 days after it went missing either!). It had been missing for over a year, and she said she found it in her dad's house. It was clothing, new when it went missing and clearly used when found.

If she returns I will be expecting her to start paying her way, but she may find that a step too far.

    Congratulations Crimson Addict:T

I potted £7.50 today, keeping £5 in change as helping a friend run a tombola for animal rescue tomorrow and handy to have small change at the village charity sale. Will pot that if not spent.

I'm on another personal challenge at the moment - my eBay sales have reached £92 this week from my loft clear out of clothing so I'm aiming to get it to £100:j

Swapped 4 bags of 2p's and 1p's at the post office - first time I've used the post office for that - thought it would be paid into my bank account but the lady gave me £4 so I added it to my pot. She never even weighed it or counted it - very trusting!

Yesterday I found a £2 coin on the footpath whilst out - no one nearby who might have dropped it so it has gone into my tin.
Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Evening all, a bit windy here today after rain this morning. No complaints though as still very warm.

crimson.addict - excellent news, well done and congratulations.

lynnejk - Almeria and around that area is a nice part of Spain. Tenerife expensive? Do you mean accommodation costs?? I've only been a few times and in the south of the island - Los Cris, PDLA, Adeje etc. I fancy trying north of the island, even if only for a few days and toying with the carnival in 2017. Not able to do 2016. I don't think I could live there, but could easily "suffer" 3 months.

girlatplay - you could still do Florida for 3 months??

Potted 5 x £1 coins and that's me done for the week - target met. £30 target to find next week and anything over the weekend will go towards that.

Have a great weekend if possible. Catch up Sunday or Monday.

As it is an island it has to import everything - so it's much more expensive than mainland Spain. The accommodation tends to be dearer as well and they have you stuck re flights as that's the only way in and out.

I quite like the North and West of the island. We used to go to Los Gigantes for a change (though it's a bit touristy) but I really liked Puerto de la Cruz and would have stayed there - though you do not get the same sunshine as the south coast and lots of rain.

Hope you all have a super weekend
