It is baking here and I love it! I think I'm allergic to winter. I'm never as happy as when I'm roasting like a chicken. I sympathise with you being trapped indoors jakes-mum as that is how I am when it's icy out.

Was a fabulous 24 degrees and raining! this morning so I was happy as a happy thing right up till 3pm when the temps started to rise again. Even managed to get our weekly lunch out before I had to hide back indoors :D

Had a fabulous FB selling day today! 3 seperate sales that all turned up! and a lovely £9.50 in my little pot :T

    Evening all.
It went cloudy here this afternoon and the expected rain came around 7pm. Garden needed it and some more to be honest. Still humid though.
I don't like it too hot, mid 70's (whatever that is in the new stuff - lol) does me.

Managed to get the £20 part of the compensation converted into coins and potted - 3 x £2 coins and 14 x £1 coins.
Thanks for being simple, personal, fair - whoever you are (my pot loves you). :D
Still £6 needed by Saturday, but the last £100 (£600 -to £700) has been the quickest ever £100 for myself - I think.

See what the weather brings tomorrow.

    Evening

I am siting in my running gear waiting for it to start raining and it isn't doing so yet. Its far to hot to be running so I wanted to be ready for when the rain starts. It is supposed to have rained here today, but it didn't. Its still really hot.

    12p potted today.

Totally agree with the above ^^^^^

We had a wonderful storm last night with sheet and forked lightening and cracking thunder - it went on for about two hours.

Found 50p under the sofa cushion. It was DH's sofa but I found it so put in the pot :rotfl:

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday

    Hi

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the lovely weather. Not much to pot from my Friday gold coin purse collection - £1.00 including a stray 50p which tops it up to a massive £1.50 :j

Popped into the Halifax today and asked about taking in my savings tin contents. They are more than fine with it and even gave me some money bags. Apparently, a lot of people take in bags of cash from savings regularly - obviously there is a lot of potters out there not just on MSE:)

    Hiya - you're right, I hadn't noticed that before :)

However, I think you tend to get the warmer sunshiny stuff, whilst we get the easterlies here and that keeps it cooler, plus all the cloudy stuff. I don't know about you today but we are 17 degrees with 25mph on-shore winds so windows and doors firmly closed.

On the potting front £7.00 in today :D

Hope you all have a super sunny Saturday/Sunday
