Evening all :hello:
As I don't like lots of cash in the house I counted up my pot today and there was £98 and some change. I have added £2 and will get DH to bank the £100 for me the morrow. I have amended my signature for this.
That means I have 'potted' £692 so far this year and I will have one more count-up before I go on holiday in September and then leave it for the '5th' so final amount is still a surprise.
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

Morning all and a nice start to July. Not as hot here as yesterday as we have a bit of a breeze - more than welcome though. I wouldn't be surprised of any thunderstorms later today. Fingers crossed for a nice hot month.
lucyhope - nice Birthday surprise.
Compensation money has hit the bank already, so I'll get £20 of that out and into my pot by the weekend.
Potted 6 x £2 coins and 8 x £1 coins = £20. A nice start to July and another £10 to find and pot this week. Aiming for 4 x £30 weeks.
Enjoy the sun and don't forget the sun-cream. Factor 15 at least.

You sound just like my DD, jakes-mum, heat affects her MS terribly and makes all the symptoms come back. Stay hydrated and keep south facing curtains drawn then open up in the cool part of the evening - IF you can find it! Our DD used to sleep walk, she came down late one night and opened the larder door and reached for the squash bottle. I asked what she was doing - "Going to have a wee" was the reply and she started to squat over the bottle!!!!!!! What if I'd been in the living room and not hear her!!
I was actually tested for MS (along with a load of other things) as I have so many of the symptoms, they were quite surprised it was negative
Am hating this heat so very much, had factor 30 suncream on, DH took me out for an hour in the car (with the air con on full blast, but still felt like I was baking!) and still got sunburntwas then trapped inside as I just can't stand outside, its like someones put me in a sauna, whacked it up to full and locked the door, there is a question mark over me as to whether I could be allergic to the sun as it affects me physically and health wise so badly, i've never been able to cope with it and used to get sun burn and sun stroke every year terribly as a child even with full factor sun cream and tshirt and hat.
Anyway I stood in the window and watched DD splash around in the paddling pool outside, felt a bit bad when she asked me to come play though. Thankfully she takes after my dad and goes a lovely shade of brown, . . . DS on the other hand . . . well i've seen lobsters a lighter shade of red than he is this evening! He has my skin and went out today with NO suncream
Luckily Not had her trying to wee in anything  :rotfl: but I did have her running full pelt across the landing, I thought she needed the loo but she had no idea what she was doing (I think I woke her up as I called her and she was very confused) I wondered if she thought she was at her sports day as that was this week! Seems it runs in the family though as I used to sleep walk as a child, my sister once found me in the cupboard trying to put my coat on, when she asked where I was going I said 'i'm just trying it on to see if it still fits', she said 'does it?', I replied 'yes' took it off and went back to bedwe're a strange family!
DH gave me some pennies for the tin todayits making a lovely clinking noise now, and have bought a minions tin for november as they were in the £1 shop (its minions riding a vespa so suited me and DH
) DD was most put out when I said it wasn't for her

Morning all and to another glorious day.
We had the thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and last night too. Spectacular electrical storms in the afternoon and we got caught out a shopping mall. M&S had the water running into their store and had 3 men trying to brush it away. 1 staff member politely escorting customers to their cars under an umbrella, for those brave enough to venture out.
Tesco car park was flooded in places, with water half way up the wheels of some cars. Al that, within 15 minutes!!
This was at Kingston Park, for anyone that knows the area.
Seen on tv this morning hail the size of golf balls and that wasn't too far away!!
Anyway, potted 2 x £2 coins = £4.
I have £10 worth of cashback I could cash in, but thinking of leaving it for a while and see how it goes. It's destined for a "free" Xmas lunch, almost £30 in total so far. I think I'll let it mount up and cash in at the end of October.
Don't forget the sun-cream.

We had thunder and lightening about 1am this morning. It was the worst I have ever experienced in my thirty*ahem*something years!
It is baking here and I love it! I think I'm allergic to winter. I'm never as happy as when I'm roasting like a chicken. I sympathise with you being trapped indoors jakes-mum as that is how I am when it's icy out.
