Ahh Sue, wish it was just the first time, but DS has been going on trips for 6 years now, is a big beanpole of a teenager and I'm still sat at home going crazy when he's away :rotfl:
Forgot to say I have started a new tin (other than the new, because I filled the old, tin) we now have the 'jakes behaviour tin' for each demerit he gets at school he has to put 20p in the tin. It's been running 14 days now and I already have 80p ^^ though this is actually an improvement on the behaviour front
I might give it back to him at Christmas if his behaviour improves so much he's hardly potting, or I might use it to treat DD for all the treats she's had to miss because of him if his behaviour stays the same and there's loads in there  (silently prays for this particular pot to stay virtually empty)
Am taking DD for a blood test today so will pop to market after and see if I have any coins for my little tinSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

:rotfl:I had to read this three times because I kept reading the second tin, twice! (tin tin).
£2.60 odd into the pot over the weekend. I don't think I will have much to pot this week but I have £5 in my purse and if it is still there on Thursday I pledge to pot it.

ahhhh worth a shot Sue-UU
I have some more money in the holding pot but someone may need nappies before next Monday so we shall have to wait and see
I desperately want to open the £2 and £1 tins as I still haven't found my rings and wondered if they ended up in there (although still convinced the money thief took them). Grrrr.
Have a good week folks

Evening all.
A few going on holidays - enjoy.
I finally found a road-kill coin that I could pot today - a nice £1 coin.
Potted that along with 2 x £2 coins and another 9 x £1 coins = £14 potted from coins collected over the last few days.
Only £6 short of my target now......................... it's in sight. lol
