I haven't been able to pot anything, but DH assures me that he potted £4+ over the weekend which was lying in his pocket. "That's what I've got to do, isn't it?" Well, of course. He's well and truly trained! :beer:

Thank you for my star Sue. As for what laptop i have always loved Acers. I know i'm probably just lucky but i have had 3 in my lifetime and never had a problem with any. My dad currently still uses 1, my mum has another and i have the newest one. I also had a Dell but that blew up one day......... AND they were all refurbished! I hope this helps you.

I have more change for the pot. This week will be a short week for me though money-wise as i had 2 days off work so i may not be able to pot much for a while

Things have been hectic recently and with being skint I've been unable to pot. But I've been paid, I've been spending, I've been collecting change and all my spending matches the new spreadsheet I made which is amazingggggg! But I shall save that for on my diary instead of boring you lot.

Potted 3 x £2 coins and that's me over the £500 mark. That's basically all I need for Xmas and everything from now on until the 5th November will be a bonus. So Xmas is "free" again this year, I can relax already. lol

Keep on potting, anything you can - it all adds up and hopefully to another record target.

I need to run an idea by you guys.

I want to take advantage of Halif@x £125 join bonus and £5 a month however I don't want to close my Barclays account.

I was thinking of opening an account with another bank and transferring some money and 2 DD's to it. Then after a week or two switching that account to The Fax.

Would they let me do this? Does it matter how long you have an account with a bank for?

The Halifax offer is ending the end of May so get in quick if you want to do that :-) and no it doesnt matter how long you hold the account for they do get suspicious though when they ask for the expiry date of the account you are switching but you just need to say its a new card as you lost the last one
