Hi Jakes-mum, Birthday Greetings coming your way. (It is your birthday isn't it? ) :bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake: Have a great day.
Welcome to all our new potters, enjoy saving and enjoy the results in November. :T
I've just banked £67 cos my poor little pot was full to the brim. I had a nice big chocolate tub last year but DH made me a new one so I have to use it. Sig updated.
I'm very happy that my DGS has finally discovered the pleasure of saving. He used to drop money around anywhere, now it all goes in his savings pot.
Hugs to Sue and family and anyone else who needs one.S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

just wish they'd make a £3 coin!!

Lynsey
I'd like a £5 coin. Five pound notes look so scruffy so they get used quickly - and hopefully I can get £2 coins in change for my tin.
However, if I spent a £10 note and got a £5 coin in my change, I'd never want to spend it. Imagine how quickly they would add up!
I've had 3 £2 coins in my holding purse for ages just waiting for me to pop them in my sealed pot.
I did have 4 £1 coins I was holding onto to pay someone back for two of the £2 coins. Offered the 4 pounds back yesterday, but was told to keep them. Used them for a newspaper and a sandwich and enough to give someone £2 for the bus today
I only have 5p left - must pot those £2 coins now, and will get £10 out of the cash point later.

I have 42p roadkill to declare. 40p was left in the vending machine and there was 2p under it

Also we went out for dinner last night and shared a starter. It was disgusting but without even moaning I got my money back and the offer of free puddings. I took my money back but declined the free puddings. that that's another £2.95 in the potSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Ahh ty ladies, yes it was indeed my birthday yesterday, I am now on the second half of my decade . . . i've even had to move a bracket on the 'your age' question of some of my competitions
On the plus side I did make DH take me shopping today and only spent on ME!!!!!!!!!!
bought some nice new expensive clothes (DH nearly fell over as I don't do expensive), and DH treated me to 2 nice new 'ladies garments' from Rigby and Peller  I don't know whether to wear them or get a safe box and insure them  :rotfl:
So as i've been a shopping, I can now pot my 2 x £2 coins as I used my card to pay (for the points) so need to pay it back with my birthday money

Found £2.05 on the car park this morning. It was a bit dirty so I had to go straight into the toilet and wash it and my hands. Anyway, all good, more to go into the pot! I have a few things listed on fleabay so if they sell I'll put half of the money in the pot.
