A gold star to Kerry, for a very informative welcome. :staradmin A gold star for you too, Westie, for helping Ruth so well. :staradmin

Lovely to see you all again everyone, and many thanks for your laptop recommendations, Lynsey and Ruth, though I think I'd sooner not have a refurb as I'd be worried it might be good money after bad, but I'm still grateful for the thoughts. So, I'm on the lookout for an Acer, thanks Ruth, I've had one that served me well on the past so why not stick to the devil I knew. Thank you so much for your lovely words and I'm glad Westie has been able to advise you on the Halif!x. Much appreciation girls and a gold star to you both. :staradmin:staradmin

Hugs to all those in need of them, keep as well and as happy as is possible.

Brilliant saving, Save Dosh, and £29 will have really swelled your pot. :T

Thank you so much, Dragon Lily, you're very kind.

I felt quite sad at the start of your post, Seaotter, but was soon smiling after the cash went back in. :D Well done.

Just potted £1.28 from my purse.

Jakes-mum, you've a way to go then before you catch me. I'm 60 today. My DD was 41 last Monday. Good week for birthdays innit! DH cooked me a smashing breakfast today and we had a bottle of 'champers' with it. (Not real champers, can't stand the stuff.)

    Hugs to all.

I'm not sure I've made a single one of your posts since you introduced me :O I must try harder.

That's another 36p potted. I think I'm around 57/58% now? Not bad considering I started late and we aren't halfway through the year yet. And as I have yet to get a star on here I have got myself some smiley face stickers out of my art box. So now I have a :) which I'm quite pleased about.

I hope everyone is doing well with their savings. I actually told my family how my savings were going the other day - everyone gave me a congrats. I'm terrible at saving up, I'm very rarely organised for Christmas and if I am it's usually from about October at the earliest. So the fact I already have two christmas presents purchased, a budget and half of said budget saved not to mention possessing a Christmas planner.... Well it's shocked them all.

I still need to find some wrapping paper and cards that I actually like though! I'm very fussy.
No more making the same mistakes!
