Hi Everyone,
I haven't been posting but have still been chucking change in the pots every now and again. Probably not enough to reach my target so I better up my game!
I've only taken money from the pots once in 4.5 months and i replaced it later so this seems to be working as a saving technique. The reason it works is that I just completely forget that the money is in there! Will definately keep it up.
Happy Saving

NOOOOOOOO! You don't need to damage any lovely pots! On the first post it explains that you can remove all your coinage with a knife/ruler/other similar object.
Spend a little extra time and that's already £4.50 saved towards next year

Hello all,
I want to start by apologising for being so AWOL, I have been quite ill in a physical and emotional sense - unfortunately this is something long term that I have realised that I am going to have to start accepting.
Anyways enough of being sad, some good news I would like to share is that I am finally debt free! I have got some stuff to pay out then I am going to pot more regularly!
It has been lovely to read of all of your achievements and I am so sorry to all who are facing difficulties, offering lots of safe and squishy hugs where accepted. Sue-UU I hope that your DD is doing ok and you are coping well.
Today I potted £6.20 (including my first note of the year!). I have got a 50p coin but I have mislaid that somewhere!
I would like to make two pledges - work out a realistic target and to post more often to keep me on track!

Morning Everyone

Well I had intended to Pot a Note this morning but the silly Bank didn't have any £5 Notes left so I've had to Pot 2 x £2 and 1 x £1....which still adds up to a fiver so I'm happy
Still feeling rough but it's getting easier to get through each day....so that's good....
*Hugs* to anyone that needs them....and I'll speak to you all later on xXx

Good morning potters, continuing to add to my pot as I can...no great amounts...but still adding. Had a fabulous weekend away in Devon for the bank holiday and came home with 31x2p coins profit from the 2p slot machine- they've all been added to my pot!
Sue I hope your dd is doing well and her eyesight has returned.
Sending love to all that need it XMortgage free wannabe #580 -

Hi, can i join the challenge.
I got a sealed pot already and put £31 in yesterday from another money pot. I'm not going to be putting anything under 10p in my sealed pot as it will fill up too quickly. Anything under 10p will go into another non sealed pot as i'm less likely to dip into such money.Lloyds CC: [STRIKE]£8651[/STRIKE] £8307 - Barclaycard CC: [STRIKE]£813[/STRIKE] £1208

TOTAL Start debt at 10th June 2015 : £12,972
Current debt (8th October 2015): £12,496 = 3.67%0
