  • Hi all, :hello:

won £25 in the lotto!!! This isn't something I do as a rule, and I'm so pleased I did. Put it all in the pot as my twin has trained me well, haven't you Sue-uu ! :D

Chickens beginning to lay large eggs now, so been making cakes and yummy lemon curd. Rosie, [the sealed pot hound ] loves the frosty mornings and watching her doing zoomies across the field with a huge grin on her face is so joyful, for both of us! There is no way I can run anymore... more an arthritic slug now! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Feed your pots!

Wow Sue, another star! Thank you! :j :T

Haven't potted anything for a few days, :(, the only thing I've spent is £78 on a car repair and that was by debit card.

Best thing about not buying stuff is there's plenty of last month's money left and it's DH's pension day tomorrow. :D

Just realised I have some of this month's bus fares left. Only use it once a week and it's been too cold to go anywhere. So that's £10 potted! :j

    Hugs to all.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

Daddybear85 - welcome and good luck with your savings. May your Xmas be "free".

jimmy*c - we all have "iffy" weeks, keep going and max up on the "good" weeks. I'm normally good at saving at this time of the year, but I find it harder towards "pay day". We all get there in the end though.

grandmasam - well done on you lotto win. I'm "over the moon" if I get one number!!

Helen - belated "Happy Birthday" and you don't look anywhere near that 37!! :p
Seriously though, hope today went well and I'm looking forward to see you posting soon. Hopefully very soon.

    I potted 2 x £2 coins c/o Sainsbury's s/scan till.

God knows what's in my pot now. I think i'm going crazy with all this potting madness! It seems any change i have at the end of the day (and roadkill of course) finds its way in there... Still living comfortably, servicing the debts and bills, but the pot is growing! Bring on declaration day!

Edit: It's amazing the amount of money you have "lying around" when you get into this challenge. Before I would just 'use' the change on something like the pub or lunch at work, but seeing the amount that's going in there, by potting it and not spending it, it just makes you see how much you have to spare!
  • Just a really quick Post....

I'm home...I'm alive....I'm feeling a bit rotten but glad it's over and done with....

    Nothing to Pot today....

I'm going to try and pop out tomorrow to do a small amount of Shopping (they told me not to lift too much)....and so I'm hoping that I will have a small amount to Pot tomorrow...

Off back to bed now....feeling a bit grim....

Thank You for all the lovely Birthday Wishes and the Good Luck Wishes....I'm okay... :)
