Thank You EVERYBODY for your lovely warm wishes....I'm a little nervous I don't mind telling you all....But I'm sure I'll be fine...I have to be at the Hospital in just under 7 hours and I'm still awake....So I'm going to try and get a few hours sleep before I have to get up and get ready....
Been a sort of okay day....Today (or rather yesterday now!!) was my 37th Birthday.....And I had to work....and what I really wanted to do was eat and just relax....but, not to worry....I allowed myself a small Treat...I am learning that I don't need to do what I used to do and stuff myself until I feel sick...I CAN have smaller treats and allow myself that and really enjoy it....
I got some nice Pressies and my Grandma bought a small mini-cupcake so that she could put a Candle in it and have me blow it out this morning...bless her....that was so sweet...
Anyway...Have Potted £4.95 tonight....I'm afraid that's going to be it for a few days at least....Depends if I can get out and about or not...
If I get released from Hospital later today then I'll try to come on and let you all know that I'm okay....if not then I'll be released tomorrow (Friday morning) and then I'll Post later that day....
REALLY pleased you've heard from your Son Lynne and that he is safe and sound...you must be so relieved
*Hugs* and *Welcome* to those that need it....and I'll Chat to you all soon xXx0 -
Helen good luck tomorrow I'm sure all will go well for you and Happy Belated Birthday:bdaycake:Debt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

I am so so pleased Sue. Nothing like looking forward to having ALL my money to myself. Roll on August..... or maybe soonerDreamerHelen wrote: »Been a sort of okay day....Today (or rather yesterday now!!) was my 37th Birthday.....And I had to work....and what I really wanted to do was eat and just relax....but, not to worry....I allowed myself a small Treat...I am learning that I don't need to do what I used to do and stuff myself until I feel sick...I CAN have smaller treats and allow myself that and really enjoy it....
Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to Helen.... Happy birthday to yoooooooooouuuuuuuuuuu!! Good luck today misses, i'm sure all will go fine xx
Well i have added £20 to my pot courtesy of my OH refusing to let me pay for dinner the other day. 80p i was overcharged for my coffee (which i now only have once a week as a treat for my mummy), 85p change from chocolate.... that i haven't even eaten!! And 49p because i caved and went out and bought lunch.... as punishment, i'm also potting £5. I figure if i do that each time i actually go out and buy lunch it will eventually work out too expensive and i'll be forced to make lunch at home.
Happy Thursday everyone xxSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Well done, anothermoneysaver, a GREAT beginning to your SPC savings!
Excellently done, Lynsey, I knew it wouldn't be long as you're never happy until you achieve each individual goal.

Not to worry, jimmy*c, every little bit helps and come November you'll be so pleased you saved.shangaijimmy wrote:36p for me today. Pot steadily filling. I reckon 3 more weeks and I'll have a £10 mortgage overpayment!
36p is good, shangaijimmy, best saved than spent, and at least you can still inject humour into saving.
Bloomin good job you had budgeted for that crown, Frogletina, I'd have wanted the jewels 'n all that went with a ruddy crown for THAT amount!!!
A VERY Happy Birthday to you, Helen!!! :bdaycake: A little belated maybe but comes with the same feeling and wishes.
I've been thinking of you most of the day and hope everything's done and dusted for you and that you'll soon feel a whole lot better. :happyhear
