Hello everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to a good week - ok, maybe not you, 32b3. ;) Enjoy it SPCers and keep dry and warm!

Well potted, JoJo, and don't fret about having a quiet few putting days as I have 6 of those a week! :(

Good luck in fining that £10er, Frogletina, do be careful you haven't popped it somewhere for safe keeping. ;)

£4/5 worth of silver is pretty good savings if you ask me, mcjordi. Be happy with it. :D

...better than no potting indeed, 32b3.

Question- if I sell a few small bits on eBay can I include that money in my pot? Thanks

You most certainly can do, tizzi13. Sell well.

    Thank for answering, tizzi13, Saver-upper.

Very kind of OH, Chutney, IF he knew of his contribution!! :rotfl:

Not to worry about the reading, Observer, as time's precious, so is saving and at least you're doing that!!

Ooooh Lynne, you sound freezing up there! Have plenty of these.:coffee:The way you describe that reminds me of 20 odd years ago when they said on the news here in Somerset that the cold then was enough to take the skin from your face, DH was sent home from his farming work. Lord knows what it was like with you. Do try to stay warm. It looks as though it could even be affecting your brain leaving you a bit..shall we say...scatty!! :rotfl: Sorry to hear you should be on holiday, still perhaps you weren't meant to go, who knows. ;) Take care Lynne!!

    Very well done, Lucy!

So long as you're in good spirits, Helen, that's what's most important. Fingers crossed for news of your op...and for your (head) Target here on SPC in November!! :j

Overtime isn't always bad eh, the.new.me?!

So long as you're slowly saving, milky1991, it can't be too bad. Keep it up when possible.

SO should I pot that £8?

Go on Rosy, be honest, I'll bet a bob it's already in there! I would have done. Isn't that ever typical of our DH's! Mine's words would be "It's not worth making a fuss about", then he tells me of how he always checks the receipts though at T!!lstation as he'd soon tell em if they got it wrong!!!!!! Good for you with the cup offers.

£10 saved after shopping plus a £1 saved from the CP!!!!!! ;););)

Enjoy the rest of your day/evening, SPCers! Keep warm all those ooop North & Scotland!!!

    Sue x

I am afraid I dropped of the potting wagon slightly and pulled £60 in notes out, as we are getting married in September and I decided to use the notes towards paying for some things. I am however going to be carrying on potting change and after September will resume potting notes until the opening date!

Well done everyone on keeping up!! I haven't read back fully just skimmed over quick!

Thank you Saver-upper and Sue. I have 20 items currently on eBay and 12 have bids on so hopefully by the time they finish on Wednesday they should all sell and I can pot some extra money towards the car :-)

  • Hi all,

Really struggling to put anything in the pot for this month as for a start I am using cards which means that I don't have any change to throw in the pot.

And the month is SO long with limited money available to do all I want. Went a bit mad over putting money into my savings account and it has left me a bit short for this month - stupid girl.....

Anyhow Friday week is pay day - will be eternally grateful.

Hope everyone is having a great day xx
