I have very little money left till payday next week so I'm not spending much and therefore not potting much either but I have just found 10p in the bottom of my reuse able carrier bag. It looks very forlorn and lonely. So into the pot!

Been potting slowly but surely. £5 potted yesterday. Any spare money is currently being thrown at debts but im still making sure my pots are fed regularly.

Took me 2 hours to drive a normal 20 minute drive to work this morning - council hadn't sent the gritters out and so the roads were carnage. How I didn't burst into tears after skidding down a massive hill I don't know . All safe and sound now but keeping a close eye on the weather. If it starts to freeze I'm sending everyone home and shutting the office early. Rather have everyone safe than be sorry.

Ooohhh could I join please? My aim is to pot £350.
I've actually started potting since Christmas 2014- ive split them in 3 tins and one pot (coppers, silvers and £1 coins go into their respective tin. £2 coins and notes go into the pot, but at the moment I've only managed to put notes in the pot because I have not found one £2 coin

£2 coins seem to be really illusive at the moment, I am glad that you said as I thought it was just me being paranoid! I hope that you will be able to pot some of the silver and gold wonders soon!

1 x £2 coin in the £2 coin tin and £1.11 in shrapnel in the terramundi which includes the 11p that Dh abandoned on the kitchen side 3 weeks ago! After this length of time I told him he obviously didn't want it so its gone in my tin.

Afternoon All


So I've had a very rough couple of days....but I'm getting there and will continue to do so....My Operation has finally been scheduled for Thursday 22nd January....And I'm already nervous, but I know it has to be done....so there isn't much that can be done...just got to go and hope that it all turns out okay...Or, as my Mum would say - Keep the faith!!


Anyway...Potted just over £8 in change this Afternoon....That might just be it for a couple of days....we shall see....
