    - please note that instead of giving you the following No on the list I've given you No 20 I'm sure that member would have returned by now, and if she does, I'll give her a new one. ;) BTW, I've your popped your Target on next to your No on the list.

Ooooh I love that welcome, Lucy, a well-earned gold star for you. :staradmin

Yes, I can see your point, Kerry, you can't exactly have any guaranteed income. Still, I suppose having time with loved ones pays is one great benefit. :) I hope the next job's not far away.
No pottaging from me today as I have had an NSD therefore no change. Might go and buy something with a random price tomorrow just so I have some change to pot.

No, no, no dreamingofmoney!!!! That's no way to be dreamingofmoney, in fact it's reckless spending!! :naughty: Hang fire until you HAVE to buy something! It's great to be potting..IF you need to pay out! ;)

Aha! Here's the first potter for a while. Well done, Vicky.

Evening all and the temperature's dropping here!!

It's plummeting everywhere now, Lynsey, winter draws on (long johns too) now for absolute certain - and in more ways than one!! ;) Now then, what were you saying about the naughty step! :p Though as IF I'd put anyone on there for NOT spending, tother way about is more the case though.

Whichever ways best for you, grassgirl, then that's fine.

Seek and you (may) find eh, Iolanthe, he didn't get away from you! :D

Oooh, you've made me feel quite chilly, scotmumof3!! The day we had workmen in....with windows open too!!!!! Still, if we do freeze...at least they did a good job.

Good to see you at last, Saver88.....and there was me thinking you'd hibernated, but you can't have been if you potted on Tuesday. Well done and don't forget us! :D

Took me 2 hours to drive a normal 20 minute drive to work this morning - council hadn't sent the gritters out and so the roads were carnage. How I didn't burst into tears after skidding down a massive hill I don't know :p. All safe and sound now but keeping a close eye on the weather. If it starts to freeze I'm sending everyone home and shutting the office early. Rather have everyone safe than be sorry.

That last sentence is sooooo true, Nix, do be careful on those roads!!!!! Doesn't a skid ever put your stomach up near your tonsils!! Well done with the potting.

There you are see, when everyone else just can't find a £2 piece, jakes-mum, ALWAYS has em!!!!! Do you have em delivered straight from the mint to order??!!!

Hickles, did you ever recover your rings? I hope you have/do.

No she didn't, Modesty, but then she never lost them...twas Frogletina and yes....she did, thanks! The cold's getting to you'n all.

I'm so thrilled you've got your appointment at last, Helen, so a week tomorrow then. Try not to worry about, in fact look forward to it and to feeling a lot better afterwards with all the stress of it gone! Good potting BTW!!

Enjoy the rest of your day/evening, folk! Keep warm ALL and do STAY SAFE!!!

I've actually started potting since Christmas 2014- ive split them in 3 tins and one pot (coppers, silvers and £1 coins go into their respective tin. £2 coins and notes go into the pot, but at the moment I've only managed to put notes in the pot because I have not found one £2 coin :'(

  • So after a shopping trip with my brother I've potted £3.50. It would have been £5.50 as my brother gave me a £2 coin. I was so happy until I inspected it and found that it was a fake token coin (couldn't be a foreign currancy because it just had a flower on both sides of the coin). Ahh well still going to put it in my pot wrapped up in a note to remember this day.

I'm so glad I googled money tins and found fellow savers. I now feel like part of a community therefore more able to save without dipping.

  • Hello potters!

Not been on for a little while but I'm now back home I can get back to potting into MY pot- as opposed to my mum's hippo! I had managed to save 8 £2 coins for my terramundi while i've been at my parents and those have been deposited. I've a bit of change in my purse from shopping earlier so i'll pot that later on.

It's been blimin nippy here today, although no snow as yet. I've been rugged up under a blanket with the cat since getting home from chores! Hope everyone is well and warm.

    Merry x
