Can I please back out? Not completely but since moving house - Forking out for Carpets, Appliances... and Now lots of Bills... Not to mention Holiday next month!...

    £12,000 has become unrealistic.

Could I please have it changed to £3,000

and February only saw me putting £10 away - We are almost all moved in and settled then I can concentrate on putting more away! I hope everyone is well and doing better than me so far.. :D:D

I'm now at £975/£7500 saved this year. I've moved my savings to my 123 Account to get a far better rate of interest than I was getting with my Santander Direct Saver.

My target would need me at £1250 so I'm a bit behind but unplanned expenses are to blame.

Paying off my credit card will take a little longer than I envisaged - £733 outstanding. I need to pay for some unexpected costs around the home - mainly decorating costs. :o

Can my target be revised to £1000 instead of £2000? I'm hoping to save more than that, hopefully :)

    Thanks

Money a bit tight! Thought I might skip regular payment to savings account but oh... too late.... so it's another £125 into the savings pot for me and no spending money until next week ! Oh well.. I'm sure it will make me extra frugal this week.

I'm upto £465 for March, I need to add £65 to make it £1k for the first quarter. Just waiting for a small matured interest to hit next week and I'll round it up to the £65 mark :)

I've had some expenditure I wasn't expecting this month; so my total is going to be a little lower than originally estimated but still a healthy amount.

This months I've a had a lot of big outgoings and haven't even had my MOT yet; so not expecting to be able to save anything next month; my total might even decrease slightly depending on outcome of MOT.

Hope everyone else's month is going better.

  • Having also read about tax rebates on another thread, I rang up and am due a nice little rebate for washing my own uniforms and professional fees etc. I'll post the exact amount when I receive the cheque :D

    :T

As promised - I have this morning received a nice tidy cheque for £404.10 :D I am so chuffed. I did have to wait on hold for 30 minutes but it was so worth it!.

I have also received a £50.50 payment from topcashback for my car insurance which is currently winging its way via bacs to me, plus I've signed up for the free call credit topcashback as posted on the grabbit forum. This moneysaving lark is very addictive :D

Finally, I have moved my ISA to the post office online account as my current provider rates were shocking.

    Every little helps!
