Well I managed to save nothing in January. I spent exactly the amount I earned! However, I'm hopeful I will do better in February as no council tax to pay (normally £166) so I'm not giving up.:D

Good start to February.....
Finally got my £100 cash back for switching to Plusnet for Broadband, plus realised I had put more than needed into my 'annual bills' saving account so transferred £750 into proper savings fund. 2 days in and up to £850 already! :j Now need to stay disciplined and keep putting in £250 a week from weekly wages.
No council tax this month or next so will save some of that although I have to keep some back as my monthly bills are slightly higher than my 4 weekly pay.Save £12k in 2019 #85 £1,500/£15,000 (10%)"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal" Henry Ford0
