    Congratulations slowlyfading;.

February isn't looking as good as Jan for me, my estimates put me at around £400; which is still above my monthly target so that's a positive.

I've potentially got another £150 on top of that; as I have some cashback to apply for later this month; but that might not get to me until March; so not counting that until I get it.

  • Congratulations SF on your news !

Amazed at the collective saving for January. Well done everyone.:T

Keeping expenses to the minimum. Received £60 refund for cancelling tv licence. Managed to get over £50 reduction on the cost of car breakdown cover. Got reimbursed £3.13 from Mr T's for overcharge on my bill. All helps ....

Another £125 into my savings account yesterday. Saving is now becoming a habit. Hope I can keep this going until December but I do have a few car expenses over the next two or three months. Just a matter of juggling finances.

Look forward to reading all your posts.

  • Exciting news SF, an August baby. Congratulations to you and OH.

I upped my direct debit to Fidelity Funds to £500 which has just come out for February. Will hope to pay in a further £500 nearer the end of the month but with car insurance, breakdown cover, a weekend away this coming weekend to celebrate nieces childrens' baptisms and my birthday next week I think this may be a spendy month. No council tax though and carried a surplus over from last month so you never know. Happy February saving everyone.
