Hi everyone
A good start to 2015 savings for me, only a few xmas gifts were still to pay off on the credit card bill, and no.2 son has FINALLY received some (but not yet all) of his student loan so that helps quite a bit. Reporting £3103.06 for January (an odd amount perhaps, but I always sweep up all the odd pounds and pence into the savings account.... it all helps!)
Happy saving everyone... and huge congrats SF, what a year you're going to have!Save 12k in 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021-2022 - then early-retired.0 -
All the spending numbers are in for the month, and we have another £1003.38 to add to January's savings pot. My total so far is £1032.59, and I'm off to submit an update form
This month my goal was to re-establish the £1000 float in our main account, so next months savings will all go in the S&S ISA.

I have updated via the form. Managed to put away £700 this month.

Closing January with £530. I'm actually quite pleased with this amount because I don't do particularly well for myself in January.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
Congratulations SF!
Declaring £1763.32 for January, a bit better than I expected although still a little behind target. Next few months look a bit uncertain at the moment, March will be great while February and April are likely to be poor. Hopefully things will settle down after that
Well done to all, great to be saving so hard right after the Christmas period0 -
Don't have more savings news but wanted to stop by and say congratulations SF!0

Number 69 declaring £1,490 for January. I'm quite happy with this figure, especially after Christmas! I know that to reach my target of £15,000 for the year, I'll need to save £1,250 per month at least. I am also starting a pension this month so that's a good bit of retirement planning finally started.
Congrats to everyone who is saving, and bigger congratulations to Slowlyfading - so happy to hear your good news! :TNo. 47 Save £12k in 2018: £ ( %)
