I transfered £450 into my savings account on payday and have made a couple of small PADs since - looking forward to seeing the total amount at the end of the month! Great to be started on this

This thread is so motivating, although it's making me want to save money I can't afford as I'm so keen to get going... must remember I need the money in my current account for bills and I can't start yet - I get paid on the 21st so have to wait until then.

I'm currently saving for a house deposit with my husband and it's going brilliantly! I feel so empowered because we're saving for the first time ever. As well as our house deposit, I'd like to start my own little savings fund. I won't be able to save that much because we're focused on the deposit but I'd still like to give it a go! I know it's modest, but I'd like to save £1000 by the end of 2015. Can I join in please?
