Declaring loan payment, which clears debt by £369.36.

I managed to save £100 on top of that, but I'm afraid that'll be spent on pressies. So just the loan for now.

After being AWOL for a while, I have sent through updates to bring me up to December. It doesn't look like I'll make my target of £10K, but I'm very pleased that I have saved nearly £8,000 this year!

I will definitely be signing up again for next year's challenge, and will try to update on a regular basis as well :)

Thanks SlowlyFading for all of your hard work in maintaining this challenge, and thanks to all of you other savers for inspiring me!
    Save £12k in 2015 #182 - £7,812.92/£10,000
  • Just doing my final update for the year. I've saved another £1400 so my total is £7300 for the year. Number 66 on the list.

I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not reaching target, but we have booked an unplanned holiday (and paid for it) and I have put some money aside for the kids future. That saving isn't included above.

I've signed up for 2016 and am going to include absolutely everything that I am putting away for our retirement including pensions, isas, regular savers etc. I'm hoping this motivates me to save!
