Declaring loan payment, which clears debt by £369.36.

I managed to save £100 on top of that, but I'm afraid that'll be spent on pressies. So just the loan for now.

After being AWOL for a while, I have sent through updates to bring me up to December. It doesn't look like I'll make my target of £10K, but I'm very pleased that I have saved nearly £8,000 this year!

I will definitely be signing up again for next year's challenge, and will try to update on a regular basis as well

Thanks SlowlyFading for all of your hard work in maintaining this challenge, and thanks to all of you other savers for inspiring me!

Just doing my final update for the year. I've saved another £1400 so my total is £7300 for the year. Number 66 on the list.


I'm a bit disappointed in myself for not reaching target, but we have booked an unplanned holiday (and paid for it) and I have put some money aside for the kids future. That saving isn't included above.


I've signed up for 2016 and am going to include absolutely everything that I am putting away for our retirement including pensions, isas, regular savers etc. I'm hoping this motivates me to save!

me neither, I only include money saved from wages. No eBay, No interest. What do other people include?
