  • £429.66 for November, but I haven't done my Christmas shopping yet so December might be a bit skimpier!

  • No 208 declaring a massive £20 for November :) Reached my target for the year now :j Probably won't declare any savings for Dec as will be spending on Christmas.

I'm up for doing this again in 2016 but with double the target - £2000 as I've finally paid off my credit card. So, no debts apart from the mortgage. it's a great feeling!

Hello everyone. Nice to see that people aren't loosing the motivation as we approach silly season :)

I am declaring £1176.70 for November, bringing my total up to £6857.90. I am clearly quite a long was off my target of 10k but I am going to keep it up there to push me to save every penny till 31st Dec! Though I suspect I'm going to come in around 8k

It's my fault, I have been spending more than I need to because it's nice not having to worry about money any more. But at least I am saving, so still going in the right direction!

    xx

Hi everyone, and where has the year gone...almost over already!! It's great to see lots of saving amounts still being reported on the thread.

Declaring £3180.10 for November, meaning we've passed our target a month early (edit: no we haven't...I miscalculated...oops). Will keep going (and on into 2016!) As our target is actually a little further into the future....in 2018, when we aim to become Financially Independent & Retire Early. Hope SlowlyFading is happy to keep the forum going for that long!

  • Declaring £1,895.69 for November and target hit . Helped in part by banking all the coins saved throughout the year.

Will keep saving through December and have signed up for the challenge next year.
