This month has been pretty good for us on the savings front, although we have paid for flights for our winter hols, so that did leave a bit of a hole. Plus no.2 son has moved back home after struggling to make ends meet post-uni in Manchester.... so that's another mouth to feed temporarily!
Reporting £1787.90 for September.

Had a great month this month declaring £773.69 for September; which moved me just under £200 off my target
Also made the last payment on my student loan which I'm ecstatic about.
Next month might not be as high as I have my car insurance to pay; but should fingers crossed make my target.
Well done everyone keep up the good work. :beer:# 047 'Save 12K in 2019' - £6,346.86 / £12,000 55.89%# 074 'Save 12K in 2015' - £4,379.25 / £4,000 109.48%0 -

Well done everyone!
Managed to save £1,647.50 this month - would have been more but had some big car expenses to pay for. Some of this came out of my Annual Bills account (which I don't include in the total), but the rest came out of salary.
October will have 5 pay weeks and the annual interest added from my regular saver account, so should have a similar amount to save this month as well.Save £12k in 2019 #85 £1,500/£15,000 (10%)"Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal" Henry Ford0 -

I'm declaring £430 for September :-) waaaaaay off my £12k target but you gotta start somewhere
Well done everyone0 -
Having a dilemma; I'm on track to declare approx. £1,000 for October.
BUT I have a credit card balance of £600 (0% interest)
Should I;
a) Pay off the whole £600 and only save £400
b) Pay off half and save £700, then pay the other half next month.
c) Something else I haven't thought of.0
