Yay well done all!
Been busy so missed the announcement (boo). I'll post with an update at the end of the month.
Congrats again!0 -
Well done everyone, it's amazing we reached the million mark.
Payday today and I've saved £100 bringing my total to £5400. It's been such an expensive month, just as I anticipate the next two months will be also. So I only suspect I will be able to declare small savings until late November/December. I'm really happy to find out this month that I've been given another contract for a part time job I enjoy doing, so that means an additional £700 disposable income from October - June but I won't be able to start saving that money til December.Homeowner:j0 -

My best month of the year (and perhaps ever!) due largely to not being able to spend anything where I am at the moment I am declaring £2106.46 this month.
Thank you everyone here for keeping me motivated, knowing I have to be honest here means I keep an eye on my finances much more than I might otherwise. So thank you all!12K in 2017 No.029: £7154.37/ 18,000 (40%)

Everyone is doing great
I have gone backwards as I decided to pay my car and home insurance in one full, to save money and to cut my monthly costs. Still hurts a bit though
Declaring £561.81 for this month.
Still waiting on the bonus from work, it's edging closer but not had confirmation yet. Very frustrating!0 -

Hello fellow savers,
I've done something for the first time today! :j I've withdrawn money from my Paypal account! Hurrah! I'm not listing this £120 as savings yet but will include it in my report for October.
In the past, I've sold one or two things on ebay but did nothing with the money received until I bought something from ebay and used my balance to pay for it.
However, recently I decided we needed new wardrobes in the guest room, so I had to clear out everything that was in the old ones (big job!). I discovered unloved formal dinner shirts and big name tee shirts, unloved "outdoor" trousers, unopened plastic models and all sorts which I listed on ebay, many of which have sold. I was planning that the money I received for selling these things would reimburse me for some of the cost of the new wardrobes, but hey-ho, that money is spent and would just have gone in to savigs if I hadn't spent it.
Feeling pretty darn good about this! :rotfl:“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

Hi
I've had an expensive few months and have saved nothing at all for June - August, but I'm back on track now (ish). I'm feeling really guilty looking at some of the figures being posted. Well done everyone!
Number 66 £500 for September and £700 for October
Belated Congratulations to SF

Saved a very happy £1,267.27, which takes my yearly total to £13,460.67, or 74.32% of my 2015 target. So at the three-quarter point of the year I'm only £25 or so short of where I'd want to be for my target.
Three months to go, but two of those are five-week months. Might be tight!
Keep up the fantastic work everyone!0
