Hello everyone
Sorry I have been MIA for several months due to this and that but I have been saving still. Over the last couple of months I have managed to save £1815 so have updated the form. That should make a grand total of £2289 so far this year. I'm pretty pleased with that especially as we have been updating the house since the beginning of the year.
Hope everyone is ok? I shall now try and catch up!

Sorry for the lack of update! I wanted to save £8000 from April until the end of the year but I have worked out what I have saved since January and I think I would like to up my overall saving this year to £16,000. Big target but will be able to save more later in the year.
Savings so far:
* Jan - March £8020
* April £190
* May £351
Total of £8561 so far.
Happy saving everyone0 -
Good month for me but still quite a bit behind schedule! £354.38 - but that was quite a bit reduced because I went to Wembley to watch Boro in the play offs!
Need to get over £500 per month from now on. I can't believe I'm saving this much![STRIKE]Total debt 1.11.10 £23,446[/STRIKE]Save £6k in 2015 #129 £6121.66/£6000Save £6k in 2016 #39 £6000/£60000 -
Declaring a huge minus for May (-£2664.05).
This month I have purchased flights to LA next year and bought a new car.
Hope to have a plus in June.If Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters0 -

Yes, they are safe but not sure why you would go for a cash ISA. Use your S&S ISA allowance and put cash into non-ISA products which offer better rates. Regular savers and/or current accounts can easily get you between 4-6% interest.0 -
Hello everyone
Ive been awol, my DS passed his 11+ and his reward was always to go to Florida and do the whole Universal/Disney thing. So thats what we did- cost me a small fortune but I did it pretty low budget and managed to get it all for £3.2k for 2 weeks. If you've been to florida you'll understand that thats not bad at all! Anyway, Im back now and ready to save, starting with £250 this week
