well i've ordered the ebay one.
I guess its going to cost him £1 or £2 a month though, but its not a bad deal.
It won't cost him anything other than the cost of the card, at least at first.
You can cancel the £1 pack straight away as it arrives and he can just use it PAYG. Tariff here
If it's going to be a longer call or a string of text messages, he can apply a £1 pack beforehand.
If you are lucky the 100MB package may be live...That is, if he actually needs data.0 -
You can still order a sim, but you have missed the 100 MB deal...Our phones and tablets come with a gift of 100MB free data every single month. The offer applies to all new pay as you go phones (including SIM Only) and tablet customers who join EE from 15 October 2014.
The offer ends for phones and SIMs on 28 December 2014 and tablet on 31 January 2015. Just top up at least £5 on your phone by 4 January 2015 or register the tablet and activate the free data online by 6 February 2015.
The EE offer is available across EE stores, online at ee.co.uk or over the phone – and through our pay as you go indirect partners. T-Mobile and Orange voice customers qualify too, if they switch to EE during the period of the offer.NiftyDigits wrote: »I gave you a specific link. Why do you choose over-complicate things? Your choice is to order it or not. That's it.
Delivery:
Estimated between Tue. 6 Jan. and Wed. 7 Jan
Even if this was showing a day earlier when you posted, it's still insufficient time to top up by 4 January.
Do you really think you should be 'advising' people on this offer?:)0 -

Oh dear! That's two bits of faulty advice you've delivered within a period of 5 minutes. Looks like you didn't check this on that link you gave AndyPK.....

You are really trying your best to be looked on as the class idiot....but again...goodwill to all men.....
Allow me to remind you:That means if you’ve bought a SIM or phone with a minimum top-up, you don’t need to do anything to activate the offer.
If you’ve ordered a free SIM(without a Top up), you’ll need to top up by at least £5 by 4 January 2015.
Now what does the SIM to which I have linked have? Any bells ringing or light bulbs lighting up?
There is good reason as to why you are on my ignore list. But as it is the season of giving, I continue to help you with your seemingly never ending blunders.
What is this??
It wasn't though, was it? Embarrassing. Hoisted by your own petard.0 -

How to stop a pack
You can stop a new pack from starting through My Account on ee.co.uk or the My EE app. Your current pack will continue until it ends or until all the allowances are used up.
Log in to My Account
Click Pack and add-ons in the menu
Under Next pack, click CHANGE or REMOVE.
Or text STOP PACK to 1500 -
