I never topped up my SIM so is it too late for me to get this 200GB? I believe the offer ends tomorrow but the
the very first link in this thread, tells you to 'Top up
£10 before midnight on the
day after you activate your
SIM, it will be used
automatically to buy 30 days
of 250 minutes and
unlimited texts.
Would this also apply if you topped up by £5?0 -

Whilst I'm really not trying to be nasty, but you really have been spoon fed answers right through this thread, I struggle to believe you are as ignorant or unable to find answers as you make out.
I'll link one for you, then you really can go back and read the thread properly as all the answers have been posted.Kernel_Sanders wrote: »I never topped up my SIM so is it too late for me to get this 200GB? Question about topping up was answered in post 42.
£5 top ups have been discussed numerous times.
PS
Why the strange formatting?====0 -

Why the strange formatting?
Although I single-space, Android (Gingerbread) / Touchpal is adding more (although I did add the space after c in t & c s as I never misuse an apostrophe:)). I'll be glad when I can get home and use a real keyboard.0 -
The top up is just a suggestion. You don't need to do anything.
You have a tendency to over-complicate matters and in general you get it badly wrong.
There is no necessity for a 25 minute set-up process. I popped the SIM in my MiFi unit and began to use data. I managed to use 25GB before I left for my holiday. That's it.
You could have just have easily used it in your modem. No need to tether at all.
There's also no need to ask me any questions. I'm on holiday and only intervened to save d123 from a headache.0 -

There's also no need to ask me any questions. I'm on holiday and only intervened to save d123 from a headache. The sim arrived today, I managed to cancel their £10 pack they preloaded by topping up £5 and then adding the £1 pack instead.I now have 100.1GB allowance to play with.
I haven't asked you any questions in this thread.
Putting a SIM in a dongle is tethering; the term is not restricted to a physical cable.
Anyway, I've missed out on the offer because I ordered my SIMS from the main EE website and not the 'EE Limited Edition SIM website', which you would only discover by clicking on 'full terms and conditions' on the page in the OP.0 -

He posted it as that was his choice. He didn't need to do so, perhaps he preferred the terms of the £1 pack.
Again, I refer you to;You have a tendency to over-complicate matters and in general you get it badly wrong.

You didn't miss out on the offer because you didn't read the T&C. You missed out because you over-complicate things and often get it quite wrong...as you know.
People try to simplify things for you and you read too much into it.
Scrounger posted this link: http://shop.ee.co.uk/campaigns/dan-and-phil twice in the very first post.
But yet you blame EE for burying where you should have ordered the SIM.
What on earth are you saying?? You just had to click on the link, fill in the form and the SIM would be on it's way to you.
What seemed to get you confused, was that there were two separate and unconnected offers.
One for 100MB per month for life and the other for 100 GB for two months.
That appeared to send you into a tailspin.
I'm on holidaySo I don't want to get into any pointless and over-complicated discussions. You just didn't get it, that's all.
In fact I had a few of both SIMs and would have happily sent them on....but we know what happened the last time we tried that....don't we?0 -
As an aside...let's look at one of your rather typical posts:OK but it's poorly worded. Where it says 'The
offer applies to
all new pay as you
go phones
(including SIM
Only) and tablet
customers.....', I took that to mean those who also chose a SIM-only contract to use in their new phone. Otherwise, why use the word 'including'?
To the rest of us we see PAYG and realise that PAYG SIM only is what is meant.
Whereas you castigate EE for using the word 'including'.
But fail to reprimand yourself for inserting the word; contract.
Another example:
Aquamania asks(about the 100MB forever offer):Really?
Is this sim really free with no top ups or anything required, ever?
Sounds too good to be true to me (but if you have the link, I will take a look)...
Scrounger provides a link reply: Here's the link:
http://ee.co.uk/help/accounts-billing-and-topping-up/pay-as-you-go-top-ups/free-data-offer
and makes it clear to you in post #16 that no phone or Tablet purchase is required if you order the correct SIM and even provides a link for you within the post.
d123 confirms it in the very next post.
But yet, you dispute what you have been told in your very next post.
I then confirm what you have been told...and then you go on to blame EE as above.
If you had bothered to follow the link given to you by Scrounger, you would have read this:Top-ups made as part of a pay as you go purchase within the promotional period qualify for the offer. That means if you’ve bought a SIM or phone with a minimum top-up, you don’t need to do anything to activate the offer.
If you’ve ordered a free SIM(without a Top up), you’ll need to top up by at least £5 by 4 January 2015.
Moving on...and back to the 100GB SIM... d123 confirms to you that the £10 Top up is voluntary....but again, that goes over your head.
He even explains how to change the kind of package assigned to the SIM and how to stop packs altogether.
d123 goes on...and on, trying to put you right in post after post....on tethering on creating an 'account' but you are clearly not having any of it.
So finally, more than one month later, no one has the slightest clue what you have done. Probably thinking that your way was that little bit smarter(Cashback and all), but clearly missing all that went past.
But since it is the time for goodwill to all men, I will summarise it for you.
100GB SIM x two months: Order via OP link, pop into compatible equipment and start using. Nothing more to do unless you actually wanted to purchase minutes and text messages. I didn't. It came with a default of a £10 bundle of calls and texts on a Topup of £10.. Not something that I wanted nor needed. Unsurprisingly the wording was suggestive of that one should top up £10 to get the calls and text package added, but it was not mandatory and you were told this...many times.
100 MB per month forever: You were recommended to purchase the SIMs from specific links, as these SIMs came preloaded with £5 worth of credit and the 100MB data already activated. Again, one could just pop it into a phone or modem and begin to use them, Better still send the code to stop the £1 pack that was the default on these SIMs, in order for it not to take £1 per week from your existing credit.
Here is an existing example of the 100 MB per month SIM that you were have supposed to ordered in the first place.0 -
Im curently usig one of these sims, so far
Cost= Zero
Data usage = 9GB
Free add on = 500 minutes, unlimited texts (£15 everything pack)
My main sim card is a three one plan £15/month account, whic on average gets through 14GB of data, about 5GB of tethered data (19GB total) roughly 300 minutes + and an unknown amount of texts (200+)
will EE be able to find me something that will match what I get from Three without costing the earth?0
