Happy Tuesday, streamers! We have a great and long-awaited channel update to share – YouTube is available now in the Roku Channel Store for all current-generation* Roku devices in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and the Republic of Ireland!
*Current generation players are those introduced after June 2011 and include the Roku LT, Roku 1, Roku 2, Roku 2 HD, Roku 2 XD, Roku 2XS, Roku 3, the Roku Streaming Stick (both HDMI and Roku Ready versions) and the Roku HD model #2500.

Chromecast can mirror some of what is on the phone...
No ITV Player, No 4OD, No Demand 5...0 -
I use an old laptop my wife fell out with and busted the screen, my old plasma tv is now much smarter than my supposedly smart tv.Nothing to see here, move along.0

does it offer anything extra which you wanted?
I have both,
But hardly use the Chrome cast now the Now TV box has gained youtube ( + cast capability)
Can also cast from Chrome tabs - with the right version of chrome !
If she wanted HD it should have been Roku 1, otherwise Now TV would have been fine
Shame she was misled by curry scum
Hopefully she can return it and get whats best0 -

Maybe you can show them how to do it !
I don't know UI of Roku but on Now TV - just go to channel store, find it and add it !0 -
