Can you explain a bit more what the problem is with A?

Why mention him at all if he's not an option? Unless you're trying to get us to say that he is?

It seems like you're trying to make a choice that isn't yours to make.

    A is out of bounds
    B you don't like
C is looking elsewhere, so probably not interested in you
D you're not even in contact with and he may have moved on after 2 years

The only one who has actually shown any interest in a relationship with you is B. How can you include A, C and D in any decision when they're not in the running?

Quite a bizzare way of finding a partner, choosing people who haven't chosen you.

This has brightened an otherwise dull lunch-break.

Get yourself on TInder, OP. You'll be batting them off.

Not sure how cats = spinster tbh, plenty of married folk have cats as well :)

The reason I think that this thread is a bit ridiculous is that the OP doesn't by her own admission like everyone in the opening post in a romantic way and as such why would you even consider having a relationship with them?

Better to be happily single than miserably coupled up.

Does C actually know you are interested ?? it may be that he dare not ask you due to work issues. If he is in a more senior position he could be worried about you claiming harassment is you were not interested.

I really don't get this, it is made out that there are 4 choices, a, b,c, or D but there really is not is there? More like one at a push and then even that is not a certainty...
