    Good Morning
Heavy rain forcast here today, so the river may rise again, we'll wait & see.
Today's plans are sewing, sewing & more sewing. I've got my machine & overlocker set up, I'm going to try & buy a cheap iron, so I can set that up in the same room to save me running up & down stairs to press the seams. I'm aiming to make one shopping bag, one handbag & one apron today, if they are successful then I'll go in to assembly line mode & do all the cutting out one day, all the seams the next etc. I'm not sure how far I'll get with my plans, DD & DGS came round yesterday & the weather forcast is for more rain, so hubby may get rained off yet again, but I can try.
I'm making a fishpie for tea tonight, so must go & get some eggs, I have fish in the freezer & plenty of potatoes.
    It's time I stopped waffling.
    Hugs to all especially JackieO

    Hi Everyone

Still no word on my money. May have to do something I really didn't want to, but it looks like I have to play a game of my own

Got asked out last night, so meeting them later for a run. Nothing will happen though. But it's a good ego boost!!!! I was told if you fall off the horse, you get straight back on.

Applying for a new job today. Just need to type the application out and burn a cd.

Got a lie in tomorrow - yey. My shift has been swapped.

Doing my daily clicks at the moment, and done a survey since getting to work. Must get some shopping in later. Really can't be bothered as I'm so tired, but must be done

Hope everyone's ok. (((Hugs))) to everyone who needs one

    Good morning everyone,

Hope all those caught up in the flooded areas are getting some respite, thinking of you all xxx

Well, i havnt been posting much the last week, as nothing has been happening here, im sure everyone is getting fed up of 'sat playing with bricks' etc, so didnt bother!!!

Actually, saying that, still not much happening here, although today is the first day of the school holidays - HURRAH - i love my children being home, and no rushing around at different times of the day, and no packed lunches to make. I am still working (1 LO, and 1 BO this afternoon) and DD has a friend coming around for the day so today is busy (and its raining, so everyone has to stay indoors).

Need to do some cleaning, but thats about it in my exciting life!!!

Frizz - i also love all the HP books, read them all leading up to the new one being released, and ive now read number 7 twice, and its just as good second time around - its such a shame its the last one!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

edited to add - Good luck today Jackie O xxx

    Morning All

Yep overcast and miserable here today also. Not many plans today, need to take DD's rabbit to the vet for its Mixy Injection, apart from that we are not going out today. OH has promised when he gets up to do some housework so I will finish off my urgent paperwork and do the ironing. ALso want to do 1 load of washing and hopefully get it dry.

For dinner tonight Im planning hm pizza, hm garlic bread and coleslaw. Im ashamed to say that i havnt made hm pizza since before the children were born! So wil try making dough in the BM for the first time.

So basically nothing exciting to report here! Will liase with OH later and see what we can plan for the weekend, think might go to London - anyone been to the Clink Museum??

DLB - have a great time swimming, I like the fact that mine are now old enough that I can sit in the cafe with a coffee while they swim.

    Morning all

On the News this morning, they are saying that the floods have peaked Hester, though not sure how this extra water is going to affect things. I used to work in Berkshire and a couple of ex-colleagues are on sandbag watch. Fingers crossed.

N9eav - yes, did enjoy TopGear last night, though sorry that the dogs were beaten...... You do have to wonder at the back up teams that they must have to do something like this. Presumably the back up team had petrol to get them home?

OH's sister asked if they could bring some friends to ours to stay the weekend . (She and BIL are lliving back at home with her mum at the moment - long story - and there is not enough room for them and their friends there) We have the room and we get on really well, so it should be fun, it's just that I was looking forward to a lazy weekend and now I have to get set up and shopped for 4 extra adults!! And of course we will have to join in the socialising, so the liver could take a bit of a hit..........:o . I don't work Fridays but S*ds law says that I am out for the day at the Gateshead Flower Festival tomorrow, so its shopping and cleaning after work tonight......

Hope everything goes well for you today JackieO
((Hugs)) to those in need, especially Scuzz and Annie

Nothing much happening here today apart from work and a trip to Costco - my car is due an MOT tomorrow and I know the tyres will not pass so theres another mortgage and a half:eek: the tyres will be expensive enough but then I will be wandering around Costco while they change them and thats dangerous:D

Need to plan a dinner for Sunday as well - it was my dads birthday whilst I was away and he wants a curry night - so I can guarantuee to you all it will be 90 degrees in the shade on Sunday :rotfl: Will drag out Curry Queens recipe (what a shame we never hear from her nowadays) as it always turns out fantastic.

    Good Morning All

dlb - have a great day! Im sure you'll be fine driving, just remember to put petrol in the car and you cant go wrong!

Got woken up at 6.25am by the dog barking. Its the same every weds, when the local weekly paper gets delivered. Anyway, Ive just reported them. Royal Mail aren't allowed to start delivering untill 7am, so I dont see what the difference is! I think its going to be one of those grumpy days!

DS got on ok at the children's hospital yesterday, (despite it costing £7.30 in parking fees) his operation for the bone graft in Sept, has took really well. Go back in 12 months time to discuss brace work!

DS at the dentist today at 4pm. Then Ive got to drop a box of bits of to exSIL what my brother left behind for his kids! Then off to collect some clothes from a freecycler! Hope they're decent one's. I desperately need some tops for work!

Right catch you later, have a great day

Morning all! ((((HUGS))))) to all who need one.

Slept in today, for a change. Off to London to get my hair extensions sorted; they get adjusted every 6 weeks.

Getting my DH to call a driving school that never refunded me my fee; took them to court, no response from them so I got a default judgement; the next step is the baliff. We'll see what happens.

Then back to the same old same old.........
