Putting something which obliquely points to a reference of contact regarding 'products' via multiple layered links is not the same as providing succinct information under site contacts.
Yes, that is true... it is not the same.
Have you pointed this out to MSE?

The illegality referenced in the question/statement is addressing what appears to be MSE promoting and receiving affiliate monies without accepting responsibility for any possible fraudulent processing.
OK, I would accept that if you had only left out "for any possible fraudulent processing". I cannot see that you have any justification for stating that. Again, if that is what you believe, why haven't you made that point to MSE?

Direct clearly labelled links and prompt replies to site users who are experiencing problems with MSE's affiliates is obviously necessary in order to maintain and promote the trustworthiness of MSE site content.
    You are probably right.

Why oh why are you refusing to actually report these alleged failings to someone who can put things right?

    Another thing:
Have you seen that section of this forum entitled The Site Feedback Board?

That is a place specifically designed for you and others to voice concerns.

I look forward to seeing you post over there.
Who knows, maybe a board guide will move this thread to that board.

It is not false representation to state that contact information for issues regarding problems with advertised/affiliate links on this site is not provided as a top level clearly stated contact link. Where exactly is that stated?

Putting something which obliquely points to a reference of contact regarding 'products' via multiple layered links is not the same as providing succinct information under site contacts. In your opinion...I find it easily found

The illegality referenced in the question/statement is addressing what appears to be MSE promoting and receiving affiliionate (sic) monies without accepting responsibility for any possible fraudulent processing. Direct clearly labelled links and prompt replies to site users who are experiencing problems with MSE's affiliates is obviously necessary in order to maintain and promote the trustworthiness of MSE site content. You really don't have a clue. How many newspapers supply a distinct individual link for each advert?

Go back over this thread and actually answer the points people have made. Your egoistic verbosity doesn't cut it on here.

Then I should start a compaign to let consumers know NOT to use MSE because there is no way of knowing if the money MSE is receiving is legal.

You would have to widen that campaign to include ALL media which carries advertising of any kind; television, newspapers, internet, magazines... Then you would also need to remove all advertising on buses, underground stations, taxis, anywhere that carries advertising billboards/posters.

Or - bit of a radical thought, for which I apologise, you could forget your childish and irrational little personal vendetta against a person and website which are, in the main, helpful and direct your efforts towards a genuinely sensible cause. How about raising publicity for helping the homeless? Their plight disturbs me more than a few odd quid from a site advertised via MSE.

Grow up OP, and stop being so blatently and wilfully one-sided.

However, with respect to the issue in this discussion (MSEs lack of clear upfront contact info for failed deal offers) - the beneficiary of an MSE advert refused to acknowledge a deal offer and referred the issue back to MSE.

With regard to any similar concerns with other media such as on buses etc there could also be an problem if there was no way of obtaining the contact information with respect to the publisher of an advert.

Yes. And - as you have repeatedly been advised on this thread - the site DOES provide the contact information with respect to the publisher of the advert.

So have you contacted them? At all?

As already pointed put in post 35 which you keep seeming to ignore - EE are sorting this matter out.
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=67015093&postcount=35

You obviously spoke to someone at EE in a department that had no idea about the offer or just gave you duff information.

The bold reiteration of incorrect information for MSE is inaccurate as MSE does NOT provide top level clearly labelled contact information for issues related to problems with MSE adverts for affiliate offers.

Yes, I think you have mentioned that a couple of times.
Have you done anything about it yet?
Why do you keep repeating yourself?

Have you read post #35 yet?

It dosent have to be or need to be "top level". All information is clearly available once you click on the "Contact" link and choose the relevant section.

    As highlighted in the FAQ
At MSE we try to flag up the best deals, in most cases it’s the cashback or comparison site which pays out. If it’s late, contact them direct.

If your question’s about gas and electricity, car or home insurance cashback, or you signed up for a direct deal via our site click the links below for more specific help.

Don't be silly! JeanetteB isnt here to get her missing vouchers, shes here to have a constant moan about a non-issue!

I think the fact post 35 shows its an EE issue as they are resolving it, and after her initial rant its not MSE's fault - she dosent want to lose face and has unfortunately decided to keep digging!
