Could do that. I just thought it would be easy to set up another account from within Barclays. The reason I dont want to shift from Barclays is because they provide Kaspersky. Other people in the family also have Barclays and you get 3 licences per account so I could still do it. Would rather stay with Barclays really though.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0

It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -

I'm going to give this another try.
Opened an account successfully, the switch went wrong so missed out on the £150. Could have complained but decided not to since I'm crazy. Switched away already. So I'll try again. Probably. Maybe. If I get the mental energy to do it.0 -
I have just received a letter from YB dated 23 January 2015 re my Direct account that was switched on the 02 December 2014 and no Direct Debits, standing orders or salary transfer are set up, and I now have only £500 in the account,(incentive paid 13-01-15) : -

edit
Hahahaha... yeah right....:rotfl: no chance.
I got my switching pack ie. the massive handout in the post today. I applied for my CurrentPlus account on Saturday after 6 different phone calls and 4 call back promises. It was only after i raised a complaint that someone magically got freed up. I didn't bother pushing the complaint any further as I am very exhausted now.£47605.33 outstanding in C.C (£8000 Interest free till January 2025)0 -

EDIT: But when (if?) the penny drops, may I suggest (to you and others) that we don't need to discuss it on here...otherwise that opportunity may no longer exist.0 -
