To bring it back to YB/CB, I opened an account on the phone a week ago, phoned them today to chase up the paperwork, turns out they never sent it!

Of course, the cynical part of me would wonder if this is to delay things sufficiently that I end up not being eligible for the £150...

Welcome to the world of Yorkshire Bank! No they are not trying to diddle you out of your £150, they just can't be relied upon to do anything they say, sometimes they do sometimes they don't and follow up phone calls to them are ALWAYS a good idea!:D

But they are always helpful and do react favourably when you politely ask for whatever it is they didnt do, didnt send etc.

Just rang - they said it's ongoing - they have not been told any end date.

Anyone else struggling with CB's online banking??
I can log on OK and see my accounts but whenever I try to make payments or transfers it crashes and chucks me out.
Have messaged CB yesterday but still no response from them!!

Yes, same thing with YB. Hopeless and exasperating. Just waiting for more incentives to pay out (today, I hope) and will then get shot of them.

I'm keeping a £1 in each account as 2% may look a good rate later in the year. I have managed to make payments in and out today.

That, and this time next year each account will have £1.02 in it. Boom!
