Yorkshire & Clydesdale Banks offering £150 for switching

So I called Clydesdale bank on Friday with a bold strategy to transfer all 4 of my current accounts and make a tidy £600. Alas I was informed that the terms of the sign up deal had changed early March and that the £150 award would only apply to one of my accounts. To see any reward on my other accounts I will have to transfer with Halifax, M&S and one other bank offering a similar sign up incentive.
Can anyone please share of any other money making schemes/rewards? To give you an idea, I recently got myself a hilton credit card (offers a free night at hilton hotel on £750 spend) and amex gold credit card (22K avios points on a 2K spend). Is there anything else worth signing up to?0 -

Don't forget the cashback sites - quidco, topcashback and imutual for switching incentives (e.g. a top up for co-op with cashback for Santander/Nationwide) or Nationwide refer a friend.0 -
Clydesdale have a 15k limit to First Direct's 10k limit.
I've only ever used the token to confirm payment mandates and then only the 1st time.First Direct isn't pretty to look at, but it does absolutely everything you need it to, without miserly limits, and the vast majority of things can be done without the token/app.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thanks MartyM8. I'm still a little peeved I missed a £1.5K money making opportunity. There must be other absolute steals in the market right now, anyone?0 -

There isn't anything as good as the Clydesdale/Yorkshire deal at the moment in banking offers. And you came to that party 4 months late, just as they changed the terms to one per person.
If you want 'other absolute steals' you need to monitor this (and other similar) forum sites. And the cashback sites for new deals.
You may find nothing that fits your circumstances for weeks or even months, but you just have to keep your eyes open and put some time into scanning deals regularly. That's the only way - and helps eliminate the risk of joining the party at closing time!
For the record the YB/CB deal - multiple £150 bonuses for switching several accounts - was exceptional. The bonus was the highest for years (Co-op did a £200 one a few years back but normally all are about £100/125) and the lack of a number limit was quite extraordinary. Don't expect to see deals like that very often!

For anyone thinking of going for this but put off by the "book a phone appointment" thing, I just managed to do it in about 20 minutes by calling the normal "contact us" number on their website and selecting option 2 for current accounts - no appointment needed.
The girl who answered even said "so you've seen the £150 incentive then, yes?"0 -
3 out of the 5 accounts' incentive got paid. But I haven't received the incentive for another 2 yet, usually get paid 33-35 days but it's 40 days now.
Was it 60 days for the incentive to be paid into the account before the T/C changed? Ta!You will only fail to learn if you do not learn from failing.
