Okay, which numpty set up a new Lloyds basic account specifically to switch .... and somehow managed to switch their Lloyds Club account instead? That will be me then :o.

Looks like I will have to apply for another Club now (assuming they will let me) :(.

And this, my friends, is the important lesson on why you don't mess with your "real" main account provider for fear of messing up!
Easily done - it's a nightmare keeping track of all these accounts! Microsoft Money's the only thing that keeps me on the straight and narrow, and incredibly it still works on Windows 8! :)

I take it the 'basic' debit card didn't grab your attention sufficiently?

I use that as well - but my list of 'closed' accounts is getting even longer than than the Open ones.

Had planned on starting it afresh from January 2015 - think the easiest way would be to set it up on another computer then copy the open account details across.

I also bought Select Complete Home Accounts. Did think about using that, as it is a newer programme - but not sure if it is any good and I have been using money since it came out

If it ain't broken don't fix it
Typically confused and asking for advice

Just to say that my switch went through for the first of my Yorkshire accounts on 11th Feb. The £150 appeared in my bank account this afternoon. So that is the 35 days, spot on.

Thanks to everyone who posted about this. Just two more to go....

Wow! That's 3 of us I'm aware of still using MM - such an incredibly useful program if you're actively working your bank accounts etc. I'm heartened. :)

Given I wasn't paid out the for the original switch and they've not called back with their response I've asked for a call back to switch another account for which I will ensure I get the £150. More work for them but I'm not bothered.

    Hi All,

Having completed my switch mid January I was credited with the £150 19th February.

I now wish to switch the account again - this time to the Co-op.

Does anybody know if YBS/Clydesdale have the power to take back the incentive? Are there any further requirements.

I assume not and I can't seem to find anything in the terms but I thought it would be worth asking!

    Cheers

Strange. No phone call back and they've put the £150 in anyway without the need for another switch. Happy days.

How the heck have people managed multiples £150s? Respect indeed to them.
