Has anyone got a 2nd payment for switches done before 28th feb? that are due to payout in march?

switch completed on the 12th feb... for my 2nd ybs account, bit anxious no payment will come through

My switch happened on the 11th of Feb and I only switched one account so I am very anxious. The switch carried over 700 from the old account and I topped it up by 500 on the 12th so there was 1200 credited to the account. I didn't mess up did I?

On that score, no...but how did you do with the rest of the T&Cs, eg signing within x days etc?

Most people have reported the incentive was paid about 35 days after the switch.

35 days after 11th Feb is 18th March - so I'd say there's no need for anxiety just yet.
  • Has anybody had their incentive paid on a different day even though they switched on the same day?

My first 2 switches happened on the 16th Feb, £1000 paid in same day. I noticed yesterday that the switch incentive was paid on one account but not the other.

Has anybody had incentives paid on different days even though the accounts switched at the same time?

The terms say they have up to 60 days (now 70 on the new March terms) to pay your incentive once you meet the terms (i.e. switched and then paid in £1k including any sums paid as part of the switch).

So far its typically been around 35 days for the payout - my first one took 38. Its also possible given the volume of applications in February payments now may get delayed further.

So don't worry - if you met the terms you should get your cash. And if you don't get it within 60 days - then you should be concerned and follow up with them. You might however even get a bigger payout if they miss their 60 day deadline.

Okay, which numpty set up a new Lloyds basic account specifically to switch .... and somehow managed to switch their Lloyds Club account instead? That will be me then :o.

Looks like I will have to apply for another Club now (assuming they will let me) :(.

And this, my friends, is the important lesson on why you don't mess with your "real" main account provider for fear of messing up!

Actually, that gives me some comfort.

After being out of the country, I had a lot of financial 'housekeeping' to do last week. One task was to open the HSBC Loyalty ISA to go with my newish Advance account and Regular Saver. I had less than £200 in the Advance so thought, ok I'll xfer £150 into the ISA then FP another £150 in and xfer that - which is what I did.

Minutes later I realised the £300 had to be a lump sum and as 2 x £150 did not a £300 lump sum make  had to FP yet another £300 in to meet the T&C of the Save Together bonus :o

Only wasted £300 of my ISA allowance but lesson learnt :(

Hope you manage to open another Club account.

That's a shame, its easy to get the numbers wrong though. How did you open the new basic account though Anon? I've been trying to open an additional one but it keeps pushing me to fill in the form as a new customer.
