Not that diffiuclt to open new donor accounts as and when you need them.
Theres probably only a few people who have actually switched 15 or more accounts to YB/CB the mean for this thread is probably going to be somewhere around 2 at a guess.0 -
I think the most I've read on this thread is 11 accounts
So easy to open donor accounts...tsb...bos...rbs.0 -
Bold is my edit.
Is this right, don't remember that in the terms and conditions, credit £1000 yes, but not the 'in a single payment' bit. AIUI it as long as during the 31 days the total credits add up to £1000 you were good for the £150. I.e you could transfer the same £1 in and out a thousand times if you want and it would still count.
Was in original T&C's but changed as in line with my post above, #1654.

Your post #1654 still quotes the £1000 'in a single payment' thats what I was querying not whether transferrred balances count.0 -
Spoke to the switching team as for a date for my switch. It's been put back a week as they're so busy...
They received my signed pack back on 24/2 but it's only just going on to the system today.
Just a heads up for those who don't see the account online.0 -
YB debit card arrived really fast.
Using their "Good To Go" instructions: "Need a/c details, debit card details & some personal details, just go on website, follow simple instructions to register & you can be using Internet Banking within 24 hours"..............or NOT!
Obliged to register for Telephone Banking, no options for ONLY Internet Banking. Supply mobile number, choose access code then wait up to 10 days for Activation Code - through the post, no option to change it to text!!!
So transferred switch cash can't even be viewed let alone accessed until I get the telephone banking activation code (a feature I don't even want). Frustrating, why supply 'simple' internet banking instructions which aren't correct?Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
Just wondering won't having lots of doner accounts and doing a lot of switches affect credit rating?0

That wasnt my quote, I was trying to cover both points in post #1660. re T&C's changing

It affected mine. It went from good to poor. I think it might have been better if I had chosen the very basic account with no debit card. Still I'm not looking to borrow any money so it will improve over time.
