Not that one maybe...but what about some more? My 1st three switches paid out this week. I've 3 more next week. Then a little wait. Then... :DThere must be 2 YorkshireBoys, because I don't have an account at imutual.

There are more than 2 people in Yorkshire. By gum.

What are you planning on switching to next?

They simply should have declined anyone attempting to open more than 3 or 4 accounts.

So maybe there was a change of policy at senior levels - hence last week people with multiple accounts getting turned down before even starting the application who weeks ago might have been accepted.

And to be honest if I was their fraud/money laundering department I would be slightly horrified that my bank was allowing people to open 10 or 20 current accounts within a few weeks. What was a great sales incentive could turn into a potential headache.

Possibly - but that's the fault of the bank not the people who took advantage of the offer and 'filled their boots' as the saying went.

And personally if a bank which makes a profit of £4bn a year wants to give away a few £150s to its customers - why should anyone feel the slightest bit guilty about taking advantage of that.

The only one open to me is Nationwide at the moment, which might take 3 of my YB accounts for £150 in RAF payments plus whatever I can get from Quidco etc. I'll then keep 3 or 4 as potential donors and close the rest.

I'm not doing anything until the last of my YB switches pay out though.

I've just sacrificed my (unused) M&S account for Nationwide Flexdirect - £80.80 from TCB. Switch to complete next week.

Also recently closed my only Clydesdale to transfer to CoOp = £100 from them and £40.40 to come from TCB.

Didn't think of doing more than 1 Clydesdale / YB as I didn't think it would pay out and didn't have enough sacrificial accounts anyway. Too slow off the mark there.

I guess that's all there is. I have banked with First Direct since 1990 and got the Halifax bonus last year.

First Trust is too difficult as they require people to go in branch and I am nowhere near Ulster.

EDIT: Why does this site put two blank lines between paragraphs forcing me to edit (twice)?

It is possible that as all the promo material stated 28/2 as the closing date, they have simply removed it for new posters etc to appear if it is being extended.

After my switch funds arrive, how quickly should I expect YB to send a debit card?
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.
