Looks like they're getting hot on the multiple accounts now. Girl I just spoke to was dead against setting a new account with them as I have 5 already. Call back later maybe?0

@7sefton The entire thread and especially the last few pages are full of people opening mutliple accounts and getting £150 each time, some have opened dozens of accounts. What more do you want.

(b) you switch to an existing Personal or Private current account which has
been credited with less than an average of £1000 per month over the six month
period prior to 17th November 2014, or since you opened

Are they still notoriously slow at sending out the packs? I'm just conscious that it has to be signed before the 28th, so if I ring today I hope it's here in time (or that the offer is extended).0

I have been categorically assured again this morning that the offer has been extended to 28-03-15, but they have not yet got around to updating the websites.
Also got quite a grilling when opening 2 more at YB and have been referred.

I opened 2 CB accounts one on a Saturday, one on a Sunday. Both packs were received on the Wednesday.0 -

I was hoping to open 2 today (only have 1 already), hopefully no problem. Might then try for the same, but with the H as joint accounts.0 -
Very late coming to this so I apologise as it has no doubt been covered but I have spent 30 mins reading through various pages but been able to find the answer.
I have just applied for a Clydesdale and a Yorkshire Direct Current account and I requested to be called on a Monday between 0800 - 1200.
I have had a text through from each telling me they will be in touch in due course. Not that they will be in touch on Monday between 0800 - 1200.
So is it just a matter of waiting for them to call some day of their choosing? Or can I contact them as I am not at home everyday, though I will be this Monday between 0800 - 1200 which is why I asked for that slot.
Also can anyone point me in the direction of a thread that I could subscribe to so I don't miss out on such offers in the past. For example I subscribe to the Regular Savings thread which is updated with all new accounts.

I wouldn't wait for a call back seeing as its taking them 3+ days to send out the switch packs and their website still has the official last signing date as 28th. It may be extended but I think you're better off ringing them on the free phone number just in case.0 -

Thanks for that - I tried calling them just now and they said the only thing they could do was to re-arrange the call for a more convenient time if the current time didn't suit. They could not do the actual account application process there and then. So I have just left it and they said they would be calling on Monday so hopefully still time for it to all go through before the deadline even if it is not extended.0 -
