Anyone else having an issue with their systems being down a lot?
    Telephone banking?
    Internet banking?
    Call Centre operations?
    Or something else?

So over the phone. I've not had that issue yet, and I've opened 4 accounts.
Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.

Me either, I used the 0800 number. When I first called, a man answered and I thought he sounded a bit miserable so I hung up and got a nice chatty lady a few mins later :)

Funny. The ones ive reached sound pleasant and proceed with the call. 10 mins in they explain their system is down and ask if they can call back. The first time it happened I said ok and never got a call back. The next times I said no so they put me on hold them gave me to another advisor... Must be me.
  • I first got my scheduled call on Sunday to open another account when I wasn't available, agreed a call back with the nice chap for Monday at 7pm.

Monday comes and no call back. I call them Tuesday, no one available in the right department, schedule a call back asap that night. Call back eventually comes Wednesday lunchtime whilst at work, I call back Wednesday night and they try and transfer me but everyone busy. Schedule call back for 7:30pm Wednesday night - no call back received

Have you thought of just ringing their freephone number(s) at a time convenient to you. I have called them at 9am and 10.30am on weekdays in the last week or so - got straight through within seconds both times. The call back process really isn't needed?!

When I call through I'm never able to proceed with that adviser, they always need to transfer me to someone else. What number are you using?
